3 Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Mesh Door Lockers Mesh Door of Lockers manufactured from 2.0mm perforated sheet with Dutch folded edges for strength, locking mechanism slide type to take 6 to 8mm padlock these Lockers ideal for anti-vandal environment where personal goods are visible at all times, internal shelve and coat hook standard.

Hand Wash Facilities single station knee operated sinks. Wall mounted Wash troughs sensor operated with towel holder dispensers catering for 5 persons at entrances to amenity or production areas. Sensor operated sinks controlled by 24VDC supply units operated from central mains supply units 240vac 50 Hz.

8 Hand washing facilities is our speciality together with Hand Sanitizers for sanitizing hands in and out of production or coming from amenity blocks. This unit Plc controlled with access control supply voltage mains in 240vac 50Hz, control voltage 24vdc. Apron washers for the Meat Industry are a necessity Smisco manufactures a multi-function unit which will operate from low or high pressure using lances. 10 Open Floor Drainage for the food industry again is our speciality as we manufacture drainage equipment in 304 or 316 stainless steel Our unique feature of our open floor drainage system is that it is self-cleaning as waste water will flow to one centre point of drain, which assists the sides of drain to keep channel clean. Top section of drain folded at 180 degrees for strength to eliminate drain from having void area in concrete, K attachments welded on at 600mm centres for securing to concrete. Our floor gullies can be side our bottom outlet with antifouling trap within. 12 Electronic Sterilizers & Hand Washers Technical Specification of 4KN Electronic Sterilizer. Dimensions overall length excluding solenoid valve 425mm L x 270mm W x 150mm D, inner shell 100mm x 100mm x 300mm deep, water holding capacity 2.5Ltr, electrical enclosure 200mm H x 110mm x 150mm wide, weight approx. 10 kg, in feed water connection male ½ BSP, waste water outlet male 1 BSP. Provision to hold 4 Knives in slots 5mm x 40mm long x 160mm blade length. Mounting Brackets 2no 30mm x30mm x 3.0mm x 8mm holes located 50mm from top. It is not recommended to weld brackets to outer shell, supplied brackets for securing to Sinks/Tables/Conveyors/Work Station s, Platforms by method of bolts fasteners only.

The Electrical enclosure IP68 has a manual Flush Button located for easy cleaning of Sterilizer this function cleans of any fat,blood or residue that may build up if butcher does not pre wash knives, even though the industry requires that butchers prewash knives before sterilization sometimes butchers in a busy abattoir do not get time to carry out this procedure, smisco has incorporated this feature so that operator by pressing button for a few seconds will clean off any build up without draining sterilizer and holding temperature of 82Deg C.

Description Overview The Stainless Steel enclosure to the RHS is IP68, smisco has designed this enclosure manufactured from 2.0mm stainless steel, the access enclosure cover secured by 4 screws has a silicon seal bonded to cover and when tightened to full capacity will withstand 3000psi also steam at 3bar. The components housed within this enclosure comprising of 5 in total include a mechanical ss stat which controls the operating temperature of sterilizer, this stat has a capillary tube feeding into an independent pocket within inner shell of sterilizer. The Electrical components include a 2Pole Rcbo, Liquid Level relay, switching 20amp contactor also a power supply unit 24VDC for operating solenoid valve. All components are incompliance with CE certificate for safety and performance and are corrosion resistant including din rail bracket.

16 Bottom of sterilizer has an independent cover assembly with 4 ss bolts this cover is sealed so that water or sediment are prevented from getting into the base of sterilizer, where the 1.0Kw heating element is located, inside this cover there is another enclosure this houses the heating element and is easily accessible should the element need to be replaced. All electrical connections are IP 65 glanded, cable ends ferruled prior to connection to electrical components. Electrical consumption 100 watts per hr continuous, or (0.8kw per 8hr day). Knife/Hand Washer sensor operated optional, 0.7ltr per 6 sec cycle adjustable, or (7Lpm) Water consumption static 0.01 to 0.04 lp/min. Heating element 230v 50hz incoli. It is recommended that Butchers Knives be pre washed prior to Sterilization, image above shows Hand /Knife sensor operated attached to Sterilizer, by swiping blade of Knife across photo sensor water will spray for 6 seconds. Sterilizers tested and calibrated to 93DegC, max 96DegC prior to despatch, all sterilizers receive Serial No for tracking and service here after. Since 2008 smisco has been monitoring performance of all Sterilizers as this information has indicated how well components are performing.

18 24VDC Solenoid Valve protected with SS Enclosure also Blank end cap to increase life of solenoid coil. Inline Mesh Filter to separate sediment to be examined monthly Solenoid Valve with inline filter. The 24vdc water in feed solenoid valve is protected from the harsh cleaning chemicals used in the Slaughtering industry, smisco has fitted a stainless steel enclosure which reduces the risk of corrosion, this prolongs the life of solenoid and protects from high pressure washing. The inline filter designed to collect any sediment will increase life of solenoid valve, solenoid valve powered by 24vdc 24watt power supply unit (PSU) from control enclosure, it is also operated independently by Flush button located on side of IP68 stainless steel enclosure.

19 Conductivity probe shown can be adjusted up or down +/-25mm for different water levels depending on operation. Conductivity Probe incorporating Stand Pipe The principal of the stainless steel adjustable conductivity probe is so that unless there is water in sterilizer it will not function, this protects Sterilizer from boiling dry, it is estimated that the life of heating in soft water environment will last for up to 6,000 hrs,the probe material is manufactured from 316L ss and the insulation within probe is Teflon as it will withstand temperatures of plus 150Deg C. It is recommended that tip of conductivity be 5/10mm below level of overflow/ removable standpipe, sterilizer to be fitted in level position. Beside the probe we have a removable Stand pipe which is created to achieve maximum cleaning, this standpipe is similar to household waste fitting and is tapered so that it connects manually to a brass seated fitting located in the bottom of Sterilizer, this laser cut stand pipe reduces residue building up assuming sterilizer is not kept clean. The Knife basket is manufactured in 2 components a laser cut holding frame which has a Delron plastic basket cut by water jet for to hold up to 4 Knives, this material is 20mm thick and will protect knives from losing their sharpness.

23 END ELEVATION The width of Machine is 850mm wide designed for most door openings or corridors, the step onto the machine adjustable 300mm, the safety handrail 1.0m from top of machine, extra access step optional if required. At opposite side of machine from side arch cleaners we have the driving mechanism which is direct drive by chain and sprockets with a geared ratio, all bearings and shafts driving brushes are of 304/316 stainless steel, standard gears treated carbon steel,( stainless steel sprockets optional if required), mounting bracket for motor and gearbox 304 stainless steel. The housing concealing this equipment is easily accessed and top cover non slip ss tread plate with sealed cover, power supply brought from control panel through stainless steel ducting rail. Water in feed ½ bsp incorporating a veturi valve for sanitising, smisco recommends a flow rate of cold water at 5litres p/m at 3.5 bar this gives adequate suction for sanitising intake. The solenoid valve supplying water to both sets of brushes is 24VDC this supply again coming from main panel in which cable supplies are concealed, access to servicing in this area made simple and safe.

25 Sensors and Control Panel. The inferred sensors located at each side of machine so that people going to or coming from production can use the machine if required as a double pass machine. The sensors used are 24vdc and are totally enclosed within the stainless steel handrail, the control panel located midway on the machine has a built in emergency stop for safety. The enclosure is IP 65 rated and is manufactured from 304 ss 2.0mm thickness, the components within the enclosure are designed to operate to a voltage of 380/400, 50hz, machine built to comply with CE conformity Sensor Diffuse type Venturi Sanitizing Intake Valve Waste outlet 75mm diameter Rotating brushes easily removable for internal cleaning using hexagon M/F drives

26 Motors & Gearboxes drives 0.37kw 3phase 380v 50/60 Hz low voltage 24vdc, controlled from main panel direct drive chain and sprockets for both side arch and horizontal brushes.

Our Conveyors have an unlimited use for purpose in the food industry as belts used are clinically cleanable for raw or cooked products approved by EU and UDSA standards.
