The frame and cores are high quality extruded aluminum, the inner core of diffuser is fully removable for easy installation. The unit size for square ceiling diffuser increases in 3 increments beginning with 6 x6 as the smallest available. The opposite blade damper (O.B.D) fixed in diffuser frame is lever operated from the face of the unit. Suitable in ceiling with multi directional throws as required. Equalizing grid provided as option for proper air stream throw. Diffuser are also available with T-bar lay-in prefabricated panel of required sizes to meet with ceiling and installation. Standard finish for diffuser is white color. Damper in black color. Other colors available on request. Diffusers shall be coned type with each cone manufactured by extruded aluminum louvered profiles or one piece die formed aluminum construction arranged in concentric cones to deflect air equally in four directions. Louvered type core is fixed to the frame with aluminum pins loaded with steel springs. Core can be easily removable and interchangeable to allow for maximum flexibility in installation, maintenance and damper adjustment. Damper is fixed rigidly to the frame by aluminum rivets. Fixing by spring clips as option. Damper blades are separated from its frame by nylon bushes Opposed blade damper is screw operated from the face opening of the diffuser after removing the internal core. Lever operated damper as option. Discharge air equally in four horizontal directions. Foam gasket is sealed around the back of the frame as option to avoid air leakage. The fully adjustable deflection blades allow for the air pattern to be control along the ceiling straight down or at some intermediate settings, The deflection blades are designed so that when in close position air pressure tends to form a tight seal. The standard slot widths are ¾ and 1. The volume control damper consists of two strips one fixed and another movable, which also act as an equalizing grid.. The airflow rate can be varied without changing the air pattern by use of volume control damper attached to rear side of the diffuser. The airflow rate can be reducing by off setting the holes in hit and miss damper. Linear slot diffusers are also available in curved shapes but with out damper. Suitable in ceiling for horizontal and vertical discharge. Standard color is white for frame and blades. Hit and miss damper and deflection blades are in black color. 74 DISC VALVE DISC VALVE Disc valves are used as an alternative to ceiling diffuser. They are most commonly used for the purpose of ventilation. The air flow through the disk valve can be adjusted by rotating the disc clockwise or anticlockwise. The rotation changes the free area between the disc and the frame. Disc valves are preferred by many architects and building owners for toilets, bathrooms and ventilation in damp areas due to its simplistic yet aesthetic appearance. The perforated baffles are filled with an odorless incombustible vermin proof and moisture proof inorganic sound absorbing material the baffles are aerodynamic in appearance designed to give 25% 33% and 50% free area for models standard pressure drop respectively.
