2 Modern burner technology for industry and environment. Since the foundation of the company in the year 1969 IBS focused on engineering and production of energy saving and low emission industrial burners. Besides of the high quality and the reliability of our systems we convince our worldwide customers with the high technical and professional level of our developments. On one hand, this is ensured by our highly qualified team of engineers, designers and skilled workers. On the other hand our investments in research and development, apart from the opening of new branches and application fields, allow the targeted, interbranch combination of technical solutions. Making strong efforts in design and development we considerably extended the range of branches and application fields of our burners. Nowadays also industries like automobile, iron, steel, metalworking and ceramic as well as branch crossing companies of the mechanical and plant engineering belong to our main customers. IBS burners are used in dryers for plasterboards, paper and wooden materials, in tunnel furnaces for kilning of ceramic materials, in incineration plants, in hot-gas generators, in industrial furnaces for heat treatment and forging as well as in many other plants. The broad range of performance of our systems is completed by an extensive service. Every order passes through a project management focused on the individual requirements of the customers: from advice and project work, planning and design, to running of tests and trials and finally delivery of wear and spare parts, commissioning and maintenance. IBS Burner systems the heart of modern thermoprocessing plants. With the series CONEFIRE, which is mainly used in the industry of building materials and environmental technology, we could win key customers even shortly after the foundation of IBS. These customers still choose IBS burners when placing new investments.

4 Process burner CONEFIRE. Flexible all-rounder. Duct burner GRIDFIRE. Unlimited burner capacity. Process burners type CONEFIRE are preferentially used for gaseous and liquid fuels and also as two fuel burners in plasterboard dryers, drying furnaces and incineration plants. 5 Gas burner GBC und GBS. Versatile standards. The gas burners type GBC (ceramic flame tube) and GBS (metallic flame tube / burner tile) are versatilely applicable standard burners for industrial furnaces and thermoprocessing plants. 6 Direct heating RECUFIRE. Open heating. With our IBS exhaust gas ejector the RECUFIRE recuperative burner is also suitable for industrial furnaces with open heating. The exhaust gas ejector is completely evacuating the exhaust gases which occur in the furnace chamber via the burner s recuperator. The ceramic recuperator SiSiC allows the use even under highest thermal stress, like for example in forging furnaces. Recuperative burner RECUFIRE. Energy saving. Low emission. Application: Chamber furnaces for heat treatment / Bogie hearth furnaces for heating and forging / Roller hearth furnaces with open flame / Rotary hearth furnaces The RECUFIRE is an energy saving and low emission recuperative burner of the recent generation. The integrated heat exchanger allows energy savings up to 50 percent at a range of performance of 10 up to 400 kw. The RECUFIRE is used for the direct and indirect heating of industrial furnaces as a radiant tube burner and for openly heated furnace plants. Radiant tube system. RECUFIRE recuperative burners are used in indirect heating systems like single-ended radiant tubes, P- and double-p radiant tubes. Heat is transferred to the furnace chamber by temperature radiation of the radiant tube. In combination with the ceramic segment flame tube FIREFLEX, the RECUFIRE recuperative burner is achieving maximum temperature uniformity even with different radiant tube diameters and gas types. Our ceramic single-ended radiant tube is suitable for highest thermal stress. Application: Inert gas roller hearth furnaces / Inert gas chamber furnaces / Continuous strip lines / Use in single-ended radiant tubes, P- and double-p radiant tubes

7 Regenerative burner REGFIRE. Highest preheating of air. REGFIRE is a compact regenerative burner for maximum air preheating. This burner is available with smallest dimensions of the burner system in the burner housing and in sizes from 400 kw up to kw range of performance. At combustion chamber temperatures higher than 850 C, the burner can be used in a flameless mode to ensure low NOx emissions. Burner to be operated in pairs for forging and roller plants.
