Reverberation time: Reverberation time is the time - in seconds - which is necessary to lower the sound pressure level of 60 db after the sound source is switched off. This shows that the reverberation time in a large room will be larger than in a small room. Particularly the acoustics and decoration of the room determines the reverberation time. How to install: The installer will propose all the heating elements, while taking into account the following requirements: a heat loss calculation according to the standard guidelines for the region heat emission and measurement tables in compliance with the tables and Clima Canal fitting instructions supplied by the manufacturer the heating elements are connected to a two-pipe system / single-sided connection. Standard connections left install the Clima Canal with the convector side towards the exterior side of the room the distance between the Clima Canal and the window should allow for any curtain. Curtains should never be hung above the Clima Canal. The heating element should be accessible at all times for maintenance. if the appliance is not mounted directly on the floor, the space between the bottomside of the appliance and the floor must be filled with a stable filling, e.g. wet cement. 12 Rim insulation: If a screed is to be applied (poured floor or a cementitious screed) rim insulation will be required on the long side of the appliance; to protect it and to cope with expansion differences during heating or cooling. Acoustic isolation Insulation against airborne noise Sound is reflected by hard materials. Soft, porous substances are best suited to absorbing airborne sound. Contact sound insulation Sound travels very easily in hard materials. Contact sound insulation will largely depend on this: A. Quality of the placement Contact points Make sure that sound- and/or mechanical vibrations cannot be transferred between different elements, e.g. between the built-in heaters and a metal carrier, through pipes, along air ducts etc. Hollow acoustic spaces. Where air can travel, so can sound: Isolate the built-in heaters in hollow acoustic spaces. Avoid cavities between insulation and pipes. These form small resonance boxes.
