1 PAOS 2017 NEWS A look at our 1st Annual... Orchid Festival From the Editor 2 Setup 3 Vendors 4 AOS Awards 5 Memories 6 Trophies 7 Raffle Winners 8 Credits 9
2 JUNE 2017 Hello PAOS Members and Friends! As you know, our first Orchid Festival was a great success! Special thanks goes to R.F. Orchids for allowing us to use their brand-new and beautifully designed event facility to host our many visitors. Thanks again to all the vendors for participating and to the members for all the assistance in making it happen. Of course Carlos Ochoa was excellent as Chairman of the event but we can t leave out our President, Rossy Ochoa, who was also exceptional at bringing it all together. Your efforts won t be forgotten thank you! With 11 beautifully arranged orchid exhibits, there was an abundance of high quality plants to be judged. The American Orchid Society team of judges from the West Palm Beach Judging Center had their hands full. We are proud to announce some of the top awards given at our festival. Congratulations to all the award recipients and many ribbon winners. Well-done! GREAT NEWS At our last board meeting we voted to host another festival next year. With the continued support and dedication of our members, it shall be another great success story! I hope you enjoy this special edition highlighting the great experience shared by all. Stay tuned for our regular June newsletter to arrive in the next few days. From the Editor 2
