ANEMOMETER 4403-RF-BAT The Anemo4403 RF, is suitable to be used for any application where it is necessary to accurately detect the wind speed such as: tower cranes, solar panels, greenhouses, wind generators, etc. but needs quick mounting and wireless system. Jointly the display WM44-P RF, in addition to the instantaneous velocity detected, you can store the minimum and maximum peak values. It also has 2 alarm thresholds speed programmable relay outputs and an analog output proportional 4-20mA. 2 DISPLAY WM44-P RF INTRODUCTION The WM44-P RF wind speed indicator, combines a highly accurate indicator with dual set point alarm relays. Specially designed to be used in combination with ANEMO4403 RF wind sensor. 2 programmable set points (ALARM 1 & ALARM 2). It can be easily mounted in any instrument panel, cabinet door, and various industrial enclosures. WM44P RF has been designed for home and industrial applications such as: cranes, PV panels, green houses, wind turbines, etc. 3 digit LED display (14 mm digit height). 2 LED alarm status indicator (AL1 & AL2). LED speed unit indicator (Km/h or Mph). Select button to switch between a redout in Mph or Km/h. ALARMS Each alarm set point, offers a user adjustable time delay to determine when the relay should operate after the set point has been exceeded so, if the wind speed drops below the set point speed, before the time delay expires, then the alarm relay will not be activated. When the wind speed falls and remains below the alarm set point also for a brief period of time, the alarm will be deactivated. The activation of ALARM 2, deactivates ALARM 1. When ALARM 2 is on, the display reading flashed to warn the operator of imminent danger. USER PREDEFINED INSTALLING CONFIGURATION Apart from user programmed parameters, you can save another alternative configuration, and you can recover it as many times you want, going back to P00 program step. HOLD FUNCTION The unit automatically stores the minimum and the maximum value of the speed detected. To view these two values, lever up ththe frontal cover in the lower crack indicated by "open to program". Now press the "ENTER" button and the minimum speed detected, appears for about 3 seconds and also the segment "D" of the display screen will light (segment placed at the bottom center). Selectable alarm type: intermittent, continuous, latched, etc. The alarm relays, are equipped with free-voltage contacts. each output relay, can be normally energized or de-energized at tripping. In latching mode, the ALARM 2 relay energizes when the wind speed set point is exceeded and remains anargized until the equipment is switched off ma ANALOG OUTPUT The WM44-P RF indicator, has a 4-20 ma analog output. ANEMOMETRIC SENSOR WM44-P RF has been expressly designed to work with our Anemo 4403 sensor. Pressing the "ENTER" button while displaying the minimum value of speed at the end of 3 seconds, you will see the maximum speed detected which will also be displayed for about 3 seconds. During this display will light the segment "A" of the display (segment placed at the center top). To reset the minimum and maximum values, press and hold the "ESCAPE" for about 2 seconds. NOTE - If the unit is powered off, minimum and maximum speed values detected, will be automatically deleted. - Every time you exit the programming mode, the minimum speed value detected, will be shown for about 3 seconds. 2

3 PROGRAMMING MODE To access the configuration buttons, lever up the frontal cover in the lower crack indicated by open to program. To enter the configuration mode, press Enter and Escape buttons simultaneously for more than 2 seconds. Function buttons in programming mode: Button Function TL1 = UP TL2 = DOWN TL3 = ENTER TL4 = ESC Increase program steps (P00,P01..), options or thresholds to program Decrease program steps, options or thresholds to program Enter into the program step where it is located, validate options and thresholds and escapes to step program. Return to program steps. In range, it selects the digit to modify Program steps: P00: (1) To get back in measure mode, without data recording (2) To get back in measure mode, with data recording, (3) To get back in measure mode, with data recording as pre-defined user configuration,(4) Press ENTER for more than 10 seconds to get back in measure mode recovering data from pre-defined user configuration. (1-999) The value introduced will match the maximum analog output (10V or 20mA). <120> P16: Maximum waiting time for receiving data from the sensor (Anemo4403) adjustable from 5 to 99 tenths of a second. <12> P17: Alarm signaling behavior when an error condition occurs due to a lack receiving data from the sensor: (0) No active alarm, (1) Alarm 1 is active, (2) ALARM 2 is active. <2> NOTE Factory default values, are enclosed in angle brackets "< >" so ALARM 1, is triggered at 50Km/h and the activation of its relay is intermittent (Ton=1sec. Toff=5sec.). ALARM 2 is triggered at 70Km/h. In case of alarm for lack of sensor data reception, the value of the analog output remain at 0mA. 3
