4 Why WiFi 1. Most widespread and dependable indoor wireless technology used today. 2. Because of the size and maturity of the market, technology costs are very low, approaching commodity pricing. 3. Experience with WiFi networks is widespread, eliminating the need for steep learning curve, training or support of network deployment. 4. Wide variety of proven security and encryption options to protect devices and data. 5. Lots of options for sending data: web pages, SQL databases, IP based building control systems, online gateways that translate signals into BACnet, Modbus or LonWorks protocols. 6. Networks can be overlaid in the same space allowing for separate networks for controls separated from building enterprise network.

6 Data Connectivity 3 Options for Sending Data 1. Data is sent to a AirTest hosted, password protected, on-line database, with graphing, data storage, remote adjustment and /text alarm capability. (small monthly fee) 2. AirTest can provided a Wifi-toWire gateway that will provide up to 200 BACnet objects connecting to a wired system. (Babbel Buster) 3. Data can be sent directly to a online controller, database or web monitoring service (requires a data decompression app).

7 Commissioning Friendly Most CO2 sensor available today are not commissioning- friendly, meaning they are difficult or impossible to properly commission/calibrate on site. This can result in costly job delays and confusion about the working order of CO2 transmitters. The TR9299 is different. 1. Outdoor Air Ambient Calibration Place TR9299 outdoors for 15 min Place magnet on side of the unit Calibration takes about 30 seconds LED indicates calibration completion 2. Single Point Span Calibration Plug in the PC cable interface into the sensor On PC interface software indicate concentration of gas being used Attach snap-on calibration cap over round circular sensor element Flow gas for 5-10 min Initiate calibration via software

8 Dew Point Applications Dew Point will be constant through an air handling zone Good indication if moisture levels may condensate on cold surfaces in the building resulting in staining and potential mold growth. Set back control based on dew point rather than temp in humid climates (harder to recover moisture levels than temp). Adjustment of sensible heat ratio of existing equipment to enhance dehumidification. Feed back control for makeup air Control fresh air economizers to prevent allowing the entry of moist air over the indoor design conditions.

9 Remote Temperature Monitoring One or two remote temperature probes on cable with RJ45 connector that plugs into the transmitter Transmitter body is located outside freezer Used to detect breakdowns leading to spoilage in restaurants and medium to small size food stores Can be provided with cloud based monitoring and alarm system called PointView. Also can be used to monitoring motor and compressor temperatures as a diagnostic tool. Also applications in Biotech and Pharma for incubators, coolers and freezers. Particularly portable units that can be moved around. 2 Point NIST calibration certificate available.

10 PointView Web-Logging: View Sensors This is a summary page that shows all sensors currently logging to the account. 1 Channel Name: are the type of values measured by the transmitter 2 Value: is the most current reading of the transmitter 3 Unit: is the type of value 4 Age: is the last time information was received from the sensor. Status: 5 Checkmark indicate operating Finger pointing indicates service button on sensor pressed and value updated Low Battery indicator 6 Clicking on sensor name will link to sensor historical readings

11 PointView Web-Logging: View Data View Data screen appears when clicking on a sensor 1 on the View Sensor Screen, or by selecting a sensor with the pull down menu at the top of the screen. 2 It is also possible to overlay the data for up to 4 transmitters 3 The time range for the data to be displayed can be customized. 4 The arrows (>>) on either side of the page to view older or newer data in the time range selected. 5 The specific values for a point on the graph can be determined by placing the cursor on the graph and the value will be displayed at the bottom of the graph 6 Alarm events or activation of the service button are listed underneath the graph.

Company Information: General company profile Edit Users: Ability to add users each with their own id and distinct log in to track alarm response activity Tools & Info: Latest copy of PC interface program to sensors.

14 PointView Web Logging: Sensor Adjustment Manage Settings: Part 2 This section at bottom of sensor adjustment page. High and low alarm levels can be set for each measurement channel The duration of the value that must be measured before alarm is adjustable

15 PointView Web-Logging: New User New Users Distinct log in identification for each user Allows alarm responses to be tracked by responder Unlimited of users can be added. Up to 5 users can be designated for the alarm escalation list.

18 PointView Web-Logging: Alarm Acknowledgement Acknowledgement Once or text alert is received user logs into site with unique user ID and password Alarm status can be indicated by pull down menu Additional comments can be added History of alarm and responses are available by clicking on the sensor name. Includes information on who responded.

19 PointView Web-Logging: Alarm Escalation Alarm Escalation Feature Up to 5 users can be identified to receive messages if alarms have gone unacknowledged for a period of time. Settings are found in Manage Accounts/Company Info Alarm escalation has to be checked in Company Preferences
