3 Fire Resistant Doorset What is Fire Resistant Doorset? A Doorset is a complete assembly with a fire-resistance rating (i.e. 30min, 60min, 120min) fitted as part of a passive fire protection system to reduce the spread of fire and smoke between compartments and to enable way out from a building. What Does a Doorset Include? The Doorset includes door leaf with fire resistance hardware, hardwood frame which consist of intumescent strip and smoke seal, typically called a Doorset fixed on to a structure that holds the fire door assembly in place.

Hardwood Frame: Minimum 850 kg/m 3 Density Required. Kiln Dried Framing timber moisture content to be 12% -16%.
