With the IR pass through cable (ET_545) you might use the IR remote control and the integrated IR receiver of a combined ad notam DFU monitor system in order to control the LED intelligent dimmer wirelessly. NOTE For installations in wet-rooms specific installation guidelines apply, which are to be seen in the context of placing the power adaptor outside of certain protection zones. These regulations differ by region. Please contact a specialist for this. In Germany electrical installations are to be performed by a skilled technician, while observing the regulations of the standard DIN VDE 0100 T

4 DESCRIPTION / CABLE CONNECTION The ad notam LED intelligent dimmer is designed to adjusts the brightness of the ad notam BA_LED illumination system, utilizing the most advanced PWM (Pulse-Width-Modulation) technology. This PWM technology controls the LED brightness and enables you to save and recall lighting presets and settings, that could extend the life tenure of the LEDs. PRODUCT FEATURES o 0-100% brightness adjustment o wireless IR remote dimming o scale level of 256 steps o 4 factory presets and 4 user-defined presets for fast adjustments o delay off functionality o soft & smoothly operation without flickering CABLE CONNECTION Basically there are two options of installation in order to control the LED intelligent dimmer wirelessly. Option 1 - Installation without connection to an ad notam DFU monitor system: Connect the LED intelligent dimmer with the BA_LED illumination profile and the according DC 12V power supply. In order to control the LED intelligent dimmer wirelessly connect additionally the external IR receiver (ET_540) to the IR IN port. ET_540 4

5 CABLE CONNECTION Option 2 - Combination with an ad notam DFU monitor system: Connect the LED intelligent dimmer with the BA_LED illumination profile and the according DC 12V power supply. Connect the IR pass through cable (ET_545) to the IR IN port of the dimmer and the IR OUT port of the ad notam DFU monitor system in order to use the the integrated IR receiver of the monitor system to control the LED intelligent dimmer wirelessly.
