A party at the fire house will not only be fun, but educational. 1. To book a party, contact Parties@Minquasfire.org or you can leave a message at , no less than 2 weeks from the date of the party. 2. Booking is for 2 hours. We can do 2 parties per day. Times are 11am to 1pm or 2pm to 4pm. Parties are booked on a first come first serve basis. Birthday parties will only be done on the 2 nd and 4 th Saturday s of the month. No more than 20 children per party. Parties of more than 20 children will be considered 2 parties and a double donation is requested. We ask for a minimum donation of $ This donation benefits the Minquas Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. The Minquas Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary supports the fire and EMS volunteers while they are helping and protecting you, your family, and your property. 3. A fire truck will be on display for pictures. Please remember this is an active fire department. If an emergency happens the fire truck may have to leave. 4. We will provide an educational video and have a Don t be afraid of the fireman dress up demonstration. 5. The Minquas Fire Company will provide tables and chairs for your use. 2 6. Fire prevention packets and plastic fire helmets for each child along with something special for the birthday child will also be provided. 7. The donation to the Minquas Ladies Auxiliary can be claimed as a tax donation. 8. One of our biggest supporters is Lione s Pizza; they are located next to Wawa on the corner of Wallace and Pennsylvania Avenue. They have agreed to provide a 15% discount off your total order to anyone having a birthday party at Minquas. 3 RULES AND REGULATIONS 1. Please park in the large parking lot on the south side of the fire house. The door will be unlocked for you to enter. To enter the engine room, use the door directly in front of you. These are the only 2 doors that will be unlocked for your use. 2. The bathroom is located in the foyer of the fire house. 3. Children need to be supervised by an adult at all times. Unruly behavior will not be tolerated. The MFC is not responsible for injuries due to unruly or unsupervised children. No equipment on the fire trucks is to be played with at any time unless under the direct supervision of a MFC volunteer and or a career staff person. 4. No one is permitted in the administrative area, bunkroom, gear room or mezzanine areas of the firehouse unless escorted by a member of the fire house. 5. Glitter or confetti is not permitted. 6. No open flames except birthday candles are permitted. 7. Hanging of decorations is permitted using only blue easily removable tape. 8. Cleanup is the responsibility of the person signing the contract. 9. If any damages happen to the fire house and or apparatus during the party, the person signing the contract is responsible for them. Damages will be assessed and a bill will be sent.
