2 ABOUT US BBS was founded in 1933 as a general builiding & agricultural merchant. Originally based in a five story building in Victoria Street, Central Bristol, it was started by Alfred Francis Moon who went onto become Lord Mayor of Bristol in Aquired by his grandson Gordon Moon in the mid fifties, the firm moved into sanitary ware and central heating and in 1982 moved to the central trading estate due to the compulsory purchase of their existing building for road development. As the firm expanded they outgrew these premises quickly and moved to their current location close to the Feeder Road in Bristol. Now with 20 employees the firm have established themselves as a major supplier of Commercial sanitary ware and heating equipment, supplying large M&E contractors as well as a broad base of customers across the plumbing and heating industry including local councils, universities and the NHS. We have supplied projects of all sizes including Bristol Airport, Caerphilly Hospital, Temple Quay office developemnt in Bristol, Bowood Golf Hotel and the MOD refurbishment of Innsworth Barracks. We hold stocks in excess of 6,000 items to enable us to satisfy orders quickly and in full. We offer a friendly, professional and effient service and are proud of our reputation for a full backup and spares service to existing and new customers. We have a large Bathroom Showroom with over 30 displays. We are approved retailers for a number of major brands such as Villeroy & Boch, Vitra, Ideal Standard, Matki shower doors and Vado Brassware. In addition we are able to supply a full range of renewable technologies such as, biomass, ground source, air source and rainwater harvesting. We can also help you obtain MCS accreditation to access the government renewable heat incentives. They are also able to take orders for non-stock products which can be collected or delivered within 24 hours. BBS staff have an excellent knowledge of Bristan ranges and are always available for technical advice. They pride themselves on being a local company with good local service, but can also manage to service projects nationwide. Their stock levels of pipefittings and sundry plumbing items is high and with a high level of co-operation on un-used items for return makes them one of our first choices for supply in this very tough market.
