1 FIND YOUR WAY Issue 03, 2015 Editorial New DESIGNlines for hotel signage Signage not only serves for wayfinding and orientation but also becomes, through individual design, an important element for room structuring. That is indispensable especially in the sector of hotels and gastronomy where the harmony of colors and designs is used as a sense of a feel-good atmosphere. With new DESIGNlines, especially created for hotel signage, we make it even easier for you to choose and combine different model series for this sector. We ll introduce them to you on page 2. RIO and GLASGOW perfectly combinable with each other Besides the main topic hotel signage we dedicate one page of this magazine to the particularities of our model series RIO and GLASGOW which are perfectly matched on each other. Our category project news shows an example of multiple ways of using the popular model series CITY-GUIDE, a system of variable poles, ring profiles and lettering panels. Moreover we show how our MADRID Black Line outdoor totem is used for the signage of a new fashion outlet center.

3 Flexible and universally applicable: Signs of our model series CITY-GUIDE Showing the outdoor signage of House Nazareth, an archiepiscopal children s home in Sigmaringen, we once again proved the variety of uses for our model series CITY-GUIDE. In the course of a larger renovation measure the investor decided to invest in a completely renewed, professional guidance and orientation system. Supported by our distribution team the advertising company Ruprecht took over the entire onsite services, from the initial signage planning to the final assembly. CITY-GUIDE, a very flexible signage system, consisting of aluminum poles, rounded box profiles and lettering panels in different sizes, managed to convince the decision makers on site. Besides the classical use as star guide, the system in Sigmaringen is also used as basis for an information stand with integrated showcase and as a simple signpost. Moreover, our model series MADRID Silver Line was used for the walls. On basis of the house s logo the new business card of Haus Nazareth was created, a universal guidance system with different signage solutions tailored to individual requirements. 4 News Fashion Outlet Center in Montabaur: Welcoming visitors with MADRID outdoor totems MADRID Brochure holders with weather protection seasonal exchangable signs A perfect example for modern urban development with direct motorway connection and Inter City Express station in front of the door is the new fashion outlet center in Montabaur. Visitors of this building complex comprising around 60 specialty shops are welcomed by MADRID Black Line outdoor totems. It was the elegant appearance of the totems and their flexibility at fitting to the local conditions that convinced the planning architects. Additionally to the permanent lettering with laminated foil in the mall s corporate design colors the totems are equipped with seasonal exchangable signposts with UV direct printing. The screwed weather-resistant brochure holders with a cover show another special feature. Planning of the location and the design for the totems printed and fully assembled at Moedel was taken over by the Limburg-based agency x-marketing. Thanks to a very good cooperation with our team the extremely scarce production and installation time of only one week between layout release and opening of the shopping centre could be realized faultlessly and without any incidents.

5 GLASGOW The big brother of our success series RIO GLASGOW Productnews Ever since the end of the 1990 s we have been on the market with our timeless model series RIO. The range of sign types leads from the little tabletop sign to the large totem for the outdoor area. Paper flexible signs are available up to size A3. But what shall you do if a larger information area is required? From now on, the stainless steel RIO signs can be combined with products of our model series GLASGOW. GLASGOW signs consist of stainless steel and safety glass panes and are also avaible in size DIN A2 and A1 for portrait or landscape use. You might ask yourself about the essential differences? Basically, brushed stainless steel is used in both cases at equally flat appearance. RIO signs are delivered with a non-reflective PMMA cover that is held inside the base plate by a clamping action. GLASGOW signs are equipped with a safety glass pane which is securely held inside a C - shaped backslash. In both cases the removal of the cover is effected with a suction cap.
