An economically thriving coastal community for all citizens, while preserving our small town ambiance, friendliness and respect for the water, marshes, and nature with which we are blessed. A welcoming community whose rich history is rooted in citizens who respect each other, in racial and socioeconomic diversity, and in our focus on family and education. Our prosperous and vibrant future will be guided by protecting our coastal resources, promoting inclusive opportunities, and leveraging strong relationships with our Naval Submarine Base.
