The Community College Chancellos Memoandum (CCCMs) do not always apply anymoe, since they filled in the gap between colleges and the fome chancello's office. Many decisions have been delegated to the college level, and often UH system policies ae in place to cove cuent decision-making. Some CCCM's ae still being followed by mutual ageement until they can be eplaced. The system publishes a chat to ty to show which those ae at A subcommittee of the Windwad Faculty Senate took on the task of claifying college questions about cuent policy. At thei ecommendation, am making it official that the Windwad Community College Policy Manual is found at This can also be found by going to ou website, then clicking Govenance, and then clicking the button labeled "Policies". The 1995 pape "WCC Policies" documents ae no longe in use. 3 l [ [ Pupose: WNDWARD COMMUNTY COLLEGE Administative, Facilities KEY SECURTY REQUEST FOR KEYS policy Guideline No. 3-9 May 6, 1980 REVSED To establish pocedues to assue adequate secuity ove the management of building keys and assignments and theeby potect the physical plan, educe incidence of vandalism due to open and unattended buildings, and impove building and popety secuity. Policy: a. All pemanent faculty/staff membes will be assigned keys to thei offices, Eckedt entance, and thei assigned classooms on a pemanent basis until keys ae ecalled by the Diecto fo Administative Sevices. b. All lectues and visiting instuctos will be assigned keys to thei offices, Eckedt entance, and thei classooms fo a peiod not to exceed thei appointment peiod. c. All equests fo keys must be appoved by one of the following: Dean of nstuction, Assistant Deans (Unit and ), Diecto fo Student Sevices, Diecto fo Community Sevices. o the Diecto fo Administative Sevices fo thei espective aeas. Pocedues: a. Request fo Keys. 1) Action to be taken by appoving authoity (see 2.c. above). a) Pepae the "Request fo Keys fom. b) Submit the Signed equest fom to the Business Office. l (i) (ii) Submit "Request: at least 24 hous pio to designated pick up date. Fo heavy key equest peiods., e.g., pio to the Fall, Sping, and Summe semestes, allow the Business Office at least one (1) week advance notice fo all key equests. - L 2) c) nfom the equesto to pick up keys at Business Office any time afte 8:00 a.m. of the designated pick up date.
