5 Question 13 Le Corbusier proposed a redevelopment plan for Paris in His Plan Voisin would have entailed the demolition of most of historic Paris north of the Seine, except for a few monuments. 6 SHPS20S Question 14 During the 1930's Le Corbusier lost faith in the capitalists. He started to believe in the virtue of centralized planning, the manner to achieve this would come through syndicalism and collectivism. His well-known planning principles combined with his modified theological view resulted in the design of "La Vi lie Radieuse" /The Radiant City. Compare "La Ville Contemporaine" with "La Ville Radieuse" and describe one of the main modifications in the design of "La Vi lie Radieuse".
