1 LAND AND BUILDING REQUIREMENTS LIST Regions: London, South of England, Midlands, North of England LocatED.co.uk 0 May 2018 Land and Buildings May 2018
2 CONTENTS London requirements... 2 South of England requirements... 5 Midlands requirements... 7 North of England requirements... 9 ABOUT LocatED LocatED is a government-owned property company, responsible for buying and developing sites for new free schools in England. With funding secured and available, LocatED acquires land and buildings across the country. This makes it one of the largest purchasers of land in the UK. LocatED operates at pace and negotiates complex deals with multiple partners across the private and public sector. To achieve this, LocatED has a multidisciplinary team with specialist skills and extensive property sector experience. Read more about LocatED at located.co.uk/about-us SITES LocatED WILL CONSIDER LocatED has individual acquisition budgets to spend on sites that can deliver 10,000 to 175,000 sq. ft. gross internal floor. These can be brownfield; greenfield; mixed-use sites; and existing buildings, that can satisfy the building size requirements. LocatED does not dictate the acreage of sites required for schools as we can deliver large schools over multiple storeys on very restricted sites in many s the key is the ability to deliver the required floor. Sites can be: Whole or part buildings with development/extension capability Land and development sites on or off market Derelict and heritage buildings Sites of all planning designations Space as part of wider developments HOW TO REFER A SITE details about your site to sites@located.co.uk or call your acquisition team contact listed in the tables per region.
