Hot water regulators shall be of the thermostatic mixing type utilizing a liquid-filled thermostatic element. 2. Valve shall have an adjustable discharge (mixed) water temperature range from 85 degrees F to 160 degrees F and shall automatically compensate for inlet temperature variations to maintain the discharge temperature within 3 degrees F of the set point. 2. Valve shall be of brass construction with rough brass finish and shall utilize balanced, independently seated hot and cold water valves to automatically compensate for pressure fluctuations. 2. The design of the regulator shall provide for automatic shutoff of the discharge water in the event of loss in pressure on either inlet and in the event of thermostatic element failure. 2. Hot water regulators shall include a combination strainer-shutoff- check valve on each inlet connection. Domes shall have a minimum free area of not less than 100 square inches. 2. Every roof drain shall be provided with a deck clamp and a large surface type steel drain receiver. 2.
