The laydown & dumpster area is approximately 0 x0 located on the south side of the building per the diagram included in ddendum. Two parking spaces will be provided by UNC, but their location will not be exactly determined until the contract for this project has been executed. There is public/visitor parking available in lots and parking decks, and the lot is likely the closest public lot.. fter the bid, UNC intends to execute the contract and establish the Notice To Proceed in a timely manner, ideally in early February if possible. Classes have been cancelled in the building for the pring semester and will be cancelled for the ummer semester as well. UNC would like to hold classes in the building in the Fall semester if possible and will decide based on the status of construction work in pril/may. The construction time is 70 consecutive calendar days, and the work should be completed before the end of 09.. This is not a phased construction project. It will be up to the contractor s means and methods to determine how to phase the work.. Investigation for hazardous materials was performed early in design and no hazardous materials were found. Previous renovation projects addressed/abated hazardous materials as well. There is an abatement consultant on the design team in case any suspect materials are uncovered during demolition.. There are a few owner provided finish items that are to be contractor installed noted on the finish plans and in the specifications.
