4 Friends, colleagues, partners, artists, geniuses, and furniture folk in general, we have prepared the 2015 catalog as a series of images compiled over the last year from projects to quaint photo shoots in central Mexico s Mountains. We humbly welcome you into our world of color, of tufting, of uncompromising old school technique, of design. ABOUT POLaRT POLART Designs began life recently in 2011 with a relentless wish to present Victorian style furniture in a manner that was relevant and alive to the WORLD. As a subsidiary of parent company AYC Internacional, the young brand had access to a 30-year legacy of old school furniture construction techniques, and 120 artisans with a combined 300 years of experience. POLART s every day objective is to combine this skillful team of artisans with a young design and sales office. We combine 100-year-old carpentry techniques, Polyurethane injection in German machines, Engineering, Steel welding, and a bit of rock and roll. The end result has been described as: fantastic, odd, daring, elitist, classic, beautiful, but certainly never dull. of noteworthy clients such as: Hard Rock Hotels, Walt Disney World, GILT Group, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, CORT Event Rentals, among others. We produce many things: from armchairs fit for monarchs in bold colored frames, to hand carved and polished inside out bookcases. With this in mind we ve recreated classic Victorian style furniture that evokes respect for the past whilst giving a cheerful nod to the future. Our fabulous outdoor pieces are completely designed to withstand all outdoor conditions and are laboratory certified. As all of our pieces are polyurethane, the special touch we give our outdoor items is that the resin that the pieces are made of is injected with the color all the way through to prevent color fading, chipping, or scratching. The high density cushioning is mold proof and they are upholstered in Sunbrella brand canvas. The pieces can even be sat in pools as lounge items. 13 About Fair Grounds Session POLART s wood grain collection is comprised of all of our classic pieces in warm wood finishes combined with durable sunbrella brand upholstery in bold, brave colors. The collection gives you all of the aesthetics of a gorgeous classic furniture piece without any of the hassle that comes with loose wooden joints and maintenance that wood requires. Plus their totally green, we cut no trees to produce these. As with all of our furniture, each piece has an internal rebar frame for added wear life and weight resistance 24 25

17 About The Dam Session We present to you: Bookcases, clocks, and TV consoles that could belong in any museum, Italian villa, or Stanley Kubrick film. The construction of the Inside Out POLaRT line stands almost alone, for its internal rebar frame, polyurethane body, and individual characteristics. The unique production method employed allows for flawless reproduction of each intricate contour. Tel Premium Leather-Backed Vinyls Once these furniture items are out of the mold production of the process, each of the pieces are hand sanded and each of the contours are carved for the Napoleon era pieces to come to life. After this stage the items are painted in polyurethane based paint in semi matte finish. For High Gloss orders the piece passes on to another paint process for the colourful pieces to get a glossy shine resembling a well waxed piano. In its final stage, each furniture piece is upholstered by hand and finalised with the upholstery tacks, each individually nailed into the frames by hand with a mallet.
