10 Abhishree Corporate Park is envisioned to be India s most livable city Vision statement of Abhishree Corporate Park To find a place which can cater to the existing needs of the people in the locality, and thus creating an environment suitable for them. 17 B Each block has been designed to ensure adequate sunlight, natural shade and air circulation - allowing comfortable micro-climate throughout the year (3/3) Range of velocity within the site is 1 5m/s Larger percentage of flats oriented towards the wind ward side along E-W running roads observing high velocity Provision of wing wall at individual flat level will ensure wind harvesting for indoor ventilation Wind catchers deliberated as an option to improve natural ventilation in MLCPs Wind velocity analysis of a typical zone Highest wind velocity (5m/s) along E-W roads Moderate-high velocity along N-S roads: 2-3m/s for spaces between blocks 4-5 m/s at junctions 20-storey Blocks: Reduced velocity of 2-3m/s due to T- projection in the courtyard N 8-storey Blocks: Comfortable wind velocity of 3-4m/s in the courtyards on account of 6mx6m voids 17

28 ON SITE: Abhishree Corporate Park 897 ACRES A Solid waste set-up for Abhishree Corporate Park needs to be a mix of on-site - segregation & collection - and off-site processing facilities (1/2) Abhishree Corporate Park Facility Mgmt Waste segregation Dry and wet waste to be segregated at apartment level and collected at building level bins - Separate dry and wet waste bags to be provided to residents Awareness camps and incentive schemes to be designed to ensure maximum segregation at source External agency Waste collection Waste to be transferred from building level collection bins to community bins via Auto Trippers or Manual carts 28

29 OFF_SITE FACILITY A Solid waste set-up for Abhishree Corporate Park needs to be a mix of on-site - segregation & collection - and off-site processing facilities (2/2) Waste to be collected from the community bins on site and transferred to the offsite Waste Processing and Material Recovery facility via Potable compactors Outsourced Waste processing Biodegradable / Organic waste to be processed and converted to manure / soil improviser manure to be used in maintaining the landscape at Abhishree Corporate Park Recyclables to be sorted and sold to Recycling vendors for further recycling Outsourced Waste disposal Inert waste to be transferred from the processing facility to a scientific landfill site using portable compactor trucks by AMC Key principle is to reduce waste to landfill to extent possible 29
