1 Design and analysis of the piping systems Over all schematic diagram of the total system along with equipment and connecting piping is shown in Fig.. Different piping systems are described as follows:. Steam Ducting: This duct connects from Steam Turbine Exhaust to Air Cooled Condenser (ACC) bundles. The provisional / proposed isometric schematic is as shown in Drg No: RD Operational Parameters of Medium (Steam): Pressure: 0.8 Kg/cm 2 (abs) Temperature/Quality: Flow at turbine exhaust: 2, 47,000 Kg/hr i) Preparation of P&ID in consultation with BHEL i Mechanical design of Ducting. Providing suitable expansion bellows at appropriate locations. Location of rupture disks. v) Location and design of supports. vi) Design of insulation and cladding for thermal and acoustics. v Seismic and Flexibility Analysis using CAESAR or equivalent software and rerouting / modification if necessary. 2. Condensate piping: This piping is envisaged to collect condensed water from ACC bundles and route to Condensate Storage Tank (CST). Condensate is pumped to feed water heaters with the help of 2 x 00% standby Condensate Extraction Pump (CEP). Provisional / proposed isometric schematic is as shown in Drg. 2 Mechanical Design. i Design and location of Supports and hangers from the nearest column / walking platforms. 3. Air-Steam mixture piping: This Piping System is connected from Air Cooled Condenser bundles to vacuum pumps meant for evacuating air-steam mixture in normal operation and creating vacuum during start-up of the plant. There are two vacuum pumps operating one at a time the other pump is for standby situation. The provisional / proposed isometric schematic is as shown in Drg. No: RD Operating parameters of air-steam mixture: Air-Steam mixture pressure: 0.8 kg/cm 2 (abs) Air temperature: 53 0 c Air-steam mixture flow rate: 60 kg/hr (air) + 20 kg/hr (steam) Mechanical design. i Design and location of supports and Hangers from nearest ACC bundle / Walking Platform / Column. 4. Drain Transfer piping: This piping system is meant for transferring / conveying drain water from Hot Well Tank to condensate storage tank. There are two pumps operating one at a time and one is for standby condition. The provisional / proposed isometric schematic is as shown in Drg. No: RD Operating parameters of Drain Water piping: Suction Pressure before pump: 0.8 kg/cm 2 (abs) Delivery pressure after pump: 6.00 kg/cm 2 (abs)

Common scope: In all the above works the following work has to be carried out All the above piping system to be designed for vacuum conditions considering seismic Zone III (moderate) factors: i Preparation of 3D drawings using PDMS or Equivalent software. Preparation of 3D models v) Generation of 2D Auto CAD drawings including BOM and part drawings from the 3D model Drawings. vi) Integration of all the systems with ACC bundles and support structures 6. Deliverables: i) Complete documentation along with design methodology in soft and hard copies i Detailed Technical Report in soft and hard copies Complete set of 3D & 2D drawings in PDMS or Equivalent, AutoCAD and PDF formats

General Terms & Conditions i) Vendor should submit the proof of having experience with list of completed jobs along with their customer references. i Vendor should submit the detailed technical methodology for the execution of the job with milestones and activities. ASME B3., API 66 standards for power piping, Air cooled heat Exchangers for general service and HEI standard for Air Cooled Condensers as applicable should be followed for the work. Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to be signed v) The work to be carried out as developmental job and the product developed will be the property of BHEL. Required inputs for executing the job will be provided by BHEL.
