1 AP-SI-03 BICYCLE RACK ADDITION AP-SI-05 EXTERIOR BENCH ADDITIONS Installation of bike rack will allow for designated and secure storage of bicycles. Installation of exterior benches will provide an outdoor waiting area for students and other pool users. AP-SI-07 EXTERIOR WASTE RECEPTACLE UPGRADE Installation of heavy-duty and attractive waste receptacles will discourage vandalism and improve appearance of building entry. AP-SI-09 PAVEMENT MARKING UPGRADE Thermo-plastic pavement markings needed for traffic control. AP-SI-11 SIDEWALK ADDITIONS Sidewalk needed at 3rd St. NE for the safety of students and pedestrians. 2 AP-SI-14 WATER METER ADDITIONS AP-ST-02 ROOF CROSS TIE ADDITIONS Installation of deduct water meters will reduce sewer fees and utility costs. Additional structural connections needed between roof and concrete walls for seismic support. AP-ST-03 WALL CRACK REPAIR Cracks in exterior walls need repair to protect walls from water infiltration and structural damage. AP-ST-04 PARAPET WALL REINFORCEMENT Additional structural reinforcement needed at top of exterior parapet walls for seismic support. AP-EX-02 CLERESTORY WINDOW UPGRADE New clerestory window needed to replace existing plastic window that is uninsulated and deteriorating. 3 AP-EX-05 EXTERIOR WINDOW UPGRADE AP-EX-07 AUTOMATIC DOOR OPENER ADDITIONS New windows needed at building entries to replace uninsulated glass and rusting window frames. Installation of an automatic door opener at the entry doors will improve access for disabled individuals. AP-EQ-01 LIFEGUARD STAND REPLACMENT Two new lifeguard stands needed to replace stands that are 38 years old and rusting. AP-EQ-02 LOCKER UPGRADE New lockers needed in Locker Rooms to replace lockers that are broken and rusting. AP-EQ-03 OFFICE FURNITURE UPGRADE New desks, chairs and tables needed for staff to replace existing furniture that is old, worn and broken. 4 AP-EQ-05 WASHER AND DRYER UPGRADE AP-ME-02 AUTOMATIC CONTROLS UPGRADE New washing machine and dryers needed to replace appliances that are energy inefficient and frequently break down. Improvements to mechanical system controls will reduce maintenance costs, energy consumption and utility costs. AP-ME-03 DOMESTIC WATER PIPING & SHOWER UPGRADE New domestic water pipes and shower fixtures needed to replace leaking underground pipes and broken shower equipment. AP-ME-04 DOMESTIC WATER TANK UPGRADE New hot water tank needed to replace existing tank that is deteriorating and does not meet current plumbing code. AP-ME-05 DRYER VENT ADDITION Installation of a vent is needed at the clothes dryers to properly ventilate equipment and meet building code. 5 AP-ME-07 EXHAUST FAN REPLACEMENT AP-ME-09 HVAC CONTROL SYSTEM COMMISSIONING New rooftop exhaust fans needed to replace fans that are in poor condition. Commissioning of mechanical systems will improve operations while reducing energy consumption and utility costs. AP-ME-10 LOUVER REPLACEMENT New louvers and diffusers needed at ventilation system to replace equipment that is in poor condition and broken. AP-ME-11 NATURAL GAS SYSTEM METERING Installation of a monitoring meter for the natural gas system will reduce the gas consumption and utility costs. AP-ME-13 PLUMBING FIXTURE REPLACEMENT Replacement of toilets and sink faucets with water efficient fixtures will reduce water consumption and utility costs. Installation of variable speed drive at the pool water circulation pump will reduce energy consumption and utility costs. AP-ME-21 BOILER UPGRADE Replacement of boiler with high efficiency equipment will reduce maintenance costs, energy consumption and utility costs. AP-EL-02 EXIT SIGN REPLACEMENT Replacement of EXIT signs with LED fixtures will reduce energy consumption and utility costs. AP-EL-04 FIRE ALARM SYSTEM UPGRADE Expansion of fire alarm system needed to provide fire detection devices and protect building from fire damage.
