INTRODUCTION 1 Group of Companies «Special systems and technologies» is the largest European manufacturer and distributor of electric heating systems and technologies for comfortable life, represents the Application MCS 300 for remote control of electric heating systems by means of the smartphone. This is a convenient solution for modern people, who value comfort and know how to be master of their time. Application MCS 300 allows a user to control the operation of electric warm floor system, connected to the special thermostat Mobile Comfort System. The thermostat and smartphone are commutated in the unified local network through common domestic Wi-Fi router. Control over all thermostats is possible through Internet from anywhere in the world. To do so, you need to preset your router. 4

Application MCS 300 allows to control the parameters and to manage the operation of electric heating systems in rooms (livingroom, bedroom, kitchen, children room, etc) or in several residential properties (apartment, house, country house). Simultaneously, the Application can interwork with 32 heating systems by connecting them in one Wi-Fi network. Maximum amount of united in one system thermostats depends on the type of the router and the amount of other devices, connected to the network. It is designated by the amount of free for use IP-addresses. In every room the application MCS 300 enables a user in current time mode to preset and maintain the heating temperature in the range from +5 С to +45 С, and also control the working order of heating system elements. 5

In basic settings of MCS 300 three operation modes are provided: Temperature maintenance mode with adjustment of temperature from +5 С to +45 С; «Vacation» mode. Activating this mode, a user presets the maintained temperature in the room in the range from +5 С to +12 С; Also, programmed mode of operation, which allows to preset the heating schedule for each room for the week ahead. A user enters desired heating temperature values for hourly amount of time for a day. You just preset the desired temperature. Thermostat MCS 300 monitors it itself, maintaining comfort and saving energy. Недельные установки повторяются постоянно в течении неограниченного времени. 6

THERMOSTAT SWITCH ON/OFF 2.2 Thermostat switch ON/OFF is carried out by pressing «default» key and holding it for at least 3 seconds. After switching on, the thermostat restores all settings, made before switching off. 11

CONNECTING TO A WI-FI NETWORK 2.3 To begin the operation you need to connect the thermostat to Wi-Fi network. At connecting the green LED signal blinks fast. Then, whether green or red LED signal lights up depending on the results of connecting (green connection ОК, red connection error). After that the thermostat switches to the standby mode. Wi-Fi network parameters Network name SSID: Wi-Fi network password: Wireless network mode: Channel width: Channel: Authentication method: Encryption WPA: any (for operation with the network on default: MCS_default) any (for operation with the network on default ) AUTO 40 MHz AUTO WPA-AUTO-Personal (WPA/WPA2 Personal)* AES * Thermostat supports the authentication method as WPA Personal 12

Connecting Wi-Fi network is possible in one of three ways: Connecting through WPS Press WPS key on your Wi-Fi router and hold it for at least 3 seconds. Press WPS key on your thermostat and hold it for at least 3 seconds. 13

The green LED signal will start blinking at that. Connecting process may take up to 1 minute. When the thermostat is connected to Wi-Fi network, the green LED light will stop blinking and go on continuously. If connection did not happen, the red LED signal will go on for 3 seconds, then it will go off, and the thermostat will switch to original condition, when none of the LED signals is on. Likewise, you may connect all required thermostats to Wi-Fi network. 14

Connecting through АР (access point) Quickly press twice «default» key on the thermostat. The green LED signal will start blinking at that. The thermostat becomes an access point at that moment, with the name «МАС-address of the device» (for example 00:08:DC:1А:24:26). At the process complete, the green LED signal will stop blinking and go on continuously. As a result you will have a new Wi-Fi network with the name «MAC-address of device» and password By connecting your smartphone to this network, you will get full access to the thermostat. 15

Please, take into account, that in this case you will have access only to one thermostat at a time. To control other thermostats in your house in the same manner, you would have to connect to another Wi-Fi network. This mode is usually used when it is necessary to manually connect the thermostat to your domestic Wi-Fi network or to setup the thermostat for operation in the network, access to which is absent at the moment. Connection to preset Wi-Fi network Quickly press 3 times the «default» key of the thermostat. The green LED signal will start blinking at that. The thermostat is now connecting to the network under the name «MCS_default» and password « ». If you have a router with matching network settings, the green light will stop blinking and go on continuously. The thermostat will be connected to specified network. In case the «MCS_default» network is absent, the red LED signal will go on, after that the thermostat will switch off (none of the LED signals is on, the heating is off, no connection to Wi-Fi network). 16

TEST MODE 2.4 MCS 300 may operate without Wi-Fi network and smartphone. Test mode is necessary for testing the thermostat at the installation of the heating system, at the stage of decoration works, when final settings are not carried out yet. In this mode a user cannot control the temperature of the warm floor system. The thermostat constantly maintains temperature at 28 С (factory settings do not change). Test mode can be activated only when switching on the thermostat for the first time. If the thermostat was connected someway to Wi-Fi network the test mode becomes unavailable. For its further usage it is necessary to return to the factory settings of the device. 17

To turn on test mode of the thermostat after power supplied to the device, press «default» key and hold it for 3 seconds. At that the green LED signal will blink in mode of 2 seconds on, 1 second off. To turn off the test mode, it is necessary to press «default» key and hold it for 3 seconds. It is possible to switch to any modes of connecting to Wi-Fi network from the test mode. 18
