3 This spa has been designed, manufactured and checked by our technical staff. It must be fitted in compliance with the regulations in force, and the corresponding instructions should be followed. BREACH OF THIS CONDITION RENDERS THE PRODUCT WARRANTY NULL AND VOID. This spa has been designed for private use. GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS AIR MASSAGE: - 1 Blower with heater (800 W W). 1x230V bottom holes. WATER MASSAGE: - 1 pump (hydro [high speed] and filter [low speed]) 1.1 kw 1x230V. - Jets: - 2 directional 3.5 jets. - 4 rotating 3.5 jets rotating minijets. - 2 air regulators: - 1 for the seat area. - 1 for the lying down area. DISINFECTION: - 1 ozone generator (10W) 250mg/h. FILTERING AND HEATING: - Filter cartridge. WATER HEATING ELEMENT: - 2 kw, 1 x 230 V SPECIFICATIONS: - Capacity litres. - Dimensions -1880/1330/750 mm. - Weight kg (without water). - No. of people Single-phase 230 V mains. - Maximum power consumption: 4.2 Kw (230 V single phase) 1. RECEIVING THE EQUIPMENT The spa should reach its destination in its original packaging. Once the packaging has been removed, check the spa fully before it is installed and report any anomaly. Do not lift the spa using the filter equipment or the pipes. Do not stand the spa on its edge. Always stand it on its legs. During the installation, check that the interior of the spa is protected by the covering included with the equipment. The electrical installation and pipe connections must be carried out by authorised installers. 2. PREPARING THE PLACE FOR THE INSTALLATION When choosing the location for the spa, a series of requirements must be taken into account: - If you have decided to install the spa indoors, bear in mind the thoroughfares required for transporting it to its final location. - The electrical connection of the equipment must be carried out with a 3 conductor cable with a section of 4 mm 2 and ready for 230 VAC (the nominal power consumed by the standard equipment is equal to 4.2 Kw). - An earth connection compliant with current legislation is essential. - Access to interior components through the side panels for post-installation maintenance. - You must also bear in mind how you are going to fill and empty the spa. The floor must be level. - There must be adequate ventilation in closed interior locations. - You must bear in mind the materials used on the wall and ceilings, since the humidity generated by the spa requires steam-resistant materials. - Due to unavoidable splashing, the floor must be highly-resistant to water, such as tiles or plastic coverings. If carpets are used, they must be treated to avoid bacteria from damp. Use special sailing carpets or rugs. Parquet or wooden floors are not advisable unless they have been duly treated for this kind of use, such as wood for gardens or outdoor buildings. In any case, make sure that the floor has a gradient of 2% towards a drain installed in the room. 3. POSITIONING THE SPA - For appropriate operating conditions, the spa must be positioned on a carefully levelled, firm base. - The weight of the full spa and with three people in it is approximately 1000 kg. This weight is supported on 9 points - the legs - with a load on the floor of 400 kg/m 2. - Level the spa by adjusting the legs (see fig. 1). - Position the spa in a way that best enables maintenance through the wooden panels. - When installing the spa in a corner or next to a side wall, remember to leave 0.5 metres or connection or installation work or fit trap doors with a minimum size of 1700x700 mm for accessing all the sides for post-installation maintenance. - This spa cannot be embedded. Do not obstruct access to the side panels. The following diagrams show the distribution of the support points (fig. 1) and the position of the spaces inside the spa (fig. 2). The Compact Broadway spa can function indoors and outdoors. It must be installed on a firm base to prevent it from sinking. 3
4 Fig (1330 with wood) 1840 (1880 with wood) - Contact point between the base of the spa and the ground ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS The electrical installation must be carried out by an authorised electrician. The internal connections of the equipment have been made at the factory (Fig. 4). The electrical installation of the spa must be protected by a 30 ma differential switch and a 25 A magnetothermal switch with omnipolar disconnection devices and a distance between contacts of at least 3 mm. Both switches must be situated outside the volumes as shown in fig EARTH CONNECTION For the circuit-breaker to function correctly, there must be an installation with an earth connection in the home EQUIPOTENTIAL CONNECTION The spa has a terminal for a 4 mm 2 section cable which joins all the metal parts of the apparatus electrically and which must be connected to the equipotential connections grid of the home. This terminal must not be connected to the mains supply earth of the spa. 4.3 MAINS SITUATION The mains supply cable of the spa must be connected to a fixed installation. A plug is not acceptable. The electrical installation must be compliant with current legislation governing low voltage. For this, it is important to bear in mind that four protection blocks are established where the spa is to be installed, defined as shown in the following diagram (fig. 3). Where block 3 is appropriate for the mains, or a false ceiling with a height of over 2.25 m. 4.4 MAINS CONNECTION For the mains connection, the following must be taken into account: - The power supply of the spa must be permanently connected to a fixed electrical conduit. - A cable compliant with the corresponding low voltage standards must be used. Remember that the green and yellow earth wire must have a length at least 40 mm longer than the neutral cables so that in the case of the cables being pulled, it is the last to be disconnected. - If the mains connection is made below the spa, it must be done by means of a connection system with a protection level of at least IPX5 and it must be located at more than 20 cm from the floor. It is very important to make sure that the electrical connections are completely watertight (IPX5 level). 5. HYDRAULIC CONNECTION For the connection, use PVC pipes and appropriate adhesive for this type of material. Do not use metal pipes. Make sure that there are no accumulated bags of air or water in the fill or empty connection. The emptying circuit must guarantee perfect emptying and, if the use of the drain so allows, a U-bend to prevent bad smells. Also, where required, the fill and empty circuits must also be fitted with anti-backflow devices to prevent retrosuction. Once the installation is complete, start up the equipment and check that the joints are watertight. Mark the water level in the spa, leave it for 24 hours and check that it has not gone down. The following drawing (fig. 5) shows the spa s filter circuit. 4

Head rest X. 2-way valve Fig. 3 Please note: The space below the spa tank is considered volume 3 as a tool is required to remove the panels. 6. FILLING AND EMPTYING THE SPA Never use the air blower circuit to fill the spa. The spa can be connected to the water mains pipes, permanently in use, or it can be filed and emptied by flexible pipes that can be removed after use. Figure 6 shows the filling point of the spa with the letter I. Figure 6 shows the emptying point of the spa with the letter V, which can be permanently or temporarily connected to the conduit system. Said emptying outlet must be connected to the general drain in the room or house. We recommend the use of a U-bend to avoid bad smells. The empty/fill taps are marked with the letter T. For your convenience, for both the filling and emptying operations, we recommend the installation of taps outside the spa enclosure. This will avoid the need for removing the panels. 7. VENTILATION The possible high temperature of the water in the spa (approximately 39 ºC) leads to steam condensation. The spa room must have adequate ventilation. If it does not, it is recommended that you install a dehumidifier to keep the air humidity at a constant temperature and prevent steam from condensing on the ceiling and on the floor. For the correct maintenance of the wood, the relative air humidity in the room must be kept below 65% when the spa is not being used. 5

The air humidity can be kept constant by the use of fans controlled by hygrostats or dehumidifiers adapted to the size of the room. Your installer or distributor can offer you advice on this. If the room has air conditioning, the condenser is not necessary. If the spa is outdoors or in an open space, these apparatuses are not necessary.
