The city council does not collect TVs, refrigerators, washing machines, driers, air conditioners and computers (Please refer to page 9 and 10). 9 Irregular [Charges apply, bookings essential] If you have large quantities of garbage (e.g. from moving house or from gardening), you can arrange for a garbage pickup service. 10,000 per 2t vehicle Please move items for collection to an area that is easily accessible by a 2t vehicle. For booking: Department of Environment Phone: Collection Support [Registration required] ( pickup service for seniors and the disabled) The city council provides a garbage pickup service to seniors and disabled people who are unable to take their garbage to a collection site by themselves. This service is available only to people who satisfy all the following conditions: 1People who live alone; 2People who are unable to take their garbage to a garbage collection site by themselves and who cannot get support from neighbors or family; 3Persons aged 65 years or older and who have nursing care insurance level 2 or higher, or people who have a Class 1 or 2 physical disability certificate; This service also applies to households with residents who only satisfy condition 3 above Application to register Please contact the Department of Environment to make an application. The department will review your application and determine your eligibility.
