5 Old Overtown House The house is thought to date from the 1600 s and is typical of the area with its pale Cotswold stone exterior, huge fireplaces and carved door architraves. The house offers three main reception rooms, ranging from square, well-proportioned rooms, to cosy vaulted, galleried ceilings. The current owners have subtly transformed the house into a fantastic family home but with scope to continue and further adapt to one s needs subject to the usual planning consents. Initial sketches, for example, have been put together for the creation of an orangery coming off the kitchen. 7 Main barn This barn is next to the main house, in front of the swimming pool. The barn is split into two rooms with a second floor spanning the entire length of the barn. One part of the barn is a scullery with the remainder used for garden machinery and storage. With its beauty and position, there is a huge amount of scope with this barn. Second barn This is located at the far end of the property, just through the main entrance gates. Planning was granted for conversion of part of this barn into ancillary accommodation but has since lapsed. Current use of this barn is for storage, as well as entertaining with its rustic feel.
