The system uses TCP/IP networking. Related functions implements via network.. Color LCD display, touch screen operation.. Eight defense zones, password for arm/disarm, scene mode controls defense zone. 4. Video intercom, unlock, audio and video monitor. 5. Intercom between apartments, Intercom within the same house (multiple indoor monitors),transfer calls. 6. Picture memory function. 7. Multiple ring tones. Do not disturb function. 8. Automatically detect conflicted network address or room number. 9. Audio, video and control signals are pure digital signal. 0. Video encoding format is H.64.Audio encoding format is G.7.. Receive and store text messages (such as text from guard station, alarm, etc).. System with online update feature, system upgrade via network, making the system easier to maintain.. 6 Installation of indoor monitor 88 series installing diagram. Located the embedded box on the installation place. Keep it horizontal and mark the hole position.. Open a hole according to the marked position. Put the embedded box into the hole and seal with cement.. Fasten the back cover with the screws properly on the embedded box. 4. Connect the indoor monitor according to the wiring diagram. 5. Mount the indoor monitor from up to down to the back cover and fix by the lower screws. 88 series installing diagram. Position the location when the unit is to be mounted. Use the bracket to mark the accurately location point.. Use the screw anchors to fill the drilling hole, and screwing fasten the bracket to the wall.. According to the wiring diagram and do right connection. 4. Mounted the unit to the bracket. 8 Operation manual Main screen System settings Feature icons Main screen (Picture -) System settings Status icons Time display Return Picture - Status icons Display network,alarm and ringtone icons (E.g.When Do Not Disturb function is active, the ringtone icon becomes gray, otherwise, the ringtone icon is bright colour). Feature icons Click on the icon, you can enter the corresponding function interface. Time display Display the current date and time information. Picture - Delete Enter Screen calibration: If the screen fails to make an accurate response when clicking on the indoor monitor screen, adjusting the screen. Press for at least seconds to enter the screen calibration interface. Follow the instruction to press the cross. System settings include network address, room number address, date and time, and system password settings. These settings are for installers to operate only. Users do not need to set them

10 Intercom Calling address instruction Main screen (Picture -) Intercom Call guard station Press physical key of the indoor monitor to call the guard station. Or enter 4-digit guard station equipment number in Picture -7, such as 0000, to call the guard station. Return Input calling address. Press Enter. Intercom between apartments Apartments within the same network are able to intercommunicate. Entering address format: Building Unit Floor Room Picture -7 Picture -4 SOOO Speak Hang up Video When calling the other apartment in the same building, press directly Floor number + Room number + Enter. For example, call Apartment, Floor 0 of the same Block, just enter 00, and then press ENTER. Picture
11 Intercom within the same house/apartment Call the other indoor monitor: Press 0 + Enter to call all the indoor monitors in the same room. Press + Enter to call the main indoor monitor. Press ~0 + Enter to call different indoor monitors in the same room. Maximum 0 indoor monitors in one room. All the indoor monitors will ring in the same time when pressing 0+Enter. One indoor monitor picks up the call, the rest of the indoor monitors will hang up automatically. Indoor monitor is called When the indoor monitor is called by the other equipments, the indoor monitor will ring and display automatically the intercom interface. Press or to pick up the call. Press for video intercom (This requires a front camera at indoor monitor). Press or to hang up the call. Call forwarding Picture -9 If there are multiple indoor monitors in one house, any one indoor monitor picks up the call from outdoor station, and need to forward the call to the other indoor monitors. Just press the icon button on the indoor monitor. Then the other indoor monitors will ring again.. Maximum talk time is minutes between indoor monitor and outdoor station / guard station. 12 Monitoring/Unlock Open door Main screen (Picture -) Monitoring Return Enter 4 or to monitor -4 outdoor stations. When the indoor monitor is called by the outdoor station, the indoor monitor will ring and display automatically the monitoring picture. Press or to open the door, no matter whether the call is picked up or not. Picture -0. During monitoring status, press to monitor the audio from outdoor station.. Maximum monitoring time is 0 seconds. After 0 seconds, the indoor monitor will hang up automatically.. Press 0 to monitor the analog outdoor station,when there is an analog outdoor station connected to the indoor monitor. In the monitoring and talking mode,press open the lock of the outdoor station. to
13 Lift call Home security Main screen (Picture -) Home security Return Press to choose one mode The indoor monitor with function " Lift call ",could call the lift to the floor where you live by press. Picture - The indoor monitor with model No SM88CH-MV5 is without " lift call " function. Defense zone instruction Indoor monitor supports 8 defense zones. The last zones are 4 hours alarm and no need to control. Default setting are smoke, gas and SOS. Zone -5 are customed by the user setting door sensor, window magnetic or infrared. Set defense delay time Factory original defense delay time is 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, the defense will be set according to the selected mode
14 Alarm delay time There are four options for delay time: 0, 5, 0 and 60 seconds, as Picture -. Press and select the time Sec Scene mode instruction Home mode: Defense zones -5 are disalarm status. Away mode: Defense zones -5 are arm status. Sleep mode: Defense zones - are arm status. Defense zones -5 are disalarm status. Custom mode: Defense zones -5 are set by the user. SOS: Emergency after select this icon. Picture - will pop up. Press confirm to call the emergency immediately. Set defense In Picture -, select the mode and the system will set defense according to the setting of the mode. The defense delay time will start to count down 60 seconds. The alarm will be active when the time is up. Disarm If the defense zone is triggered, Picture - alarm interface will pop up. Red defense zone indicates it is triggered. Guard station and indoor monitor will start alarm ringing. Press return key and return to the main interface. The alarm stops ringing. Picture - Picture - After the alarm is alerting, enter to Picture -4 defense interface again. Press any mode icon, the system will ask for user password. Enter the correct password and the defense will be cancelled
15 Information search Press the icon to disarm Main screen (Picture -) Information search Picture -4 Return Press the icon to enter information list After the indoor monitor defense is set and the defense delay time is still in count down status, press the mode and disarm it without entering any password. 16 Information instruction Community message: Record the message sent by the guard station to the indoor monitor. Visitors pictures: Outdoor station will automatically take a snapshot of the visitor after the outdoor station rings the indoor monitor for 6 seconds Defense record: Record the defense setting information. Alarm record: Record the alarm triggered information. Information search Press the information icon in Picture -5, to check the detail information as Picture -6. : Community message and Visitors pictures can be reviewed by clicking the list for details as Picture -7. Delete information Press icon and in Picture -8 select the information to be deleted and press delete. Press and select Picture -8 Delete information Maximum 000 text of word and 00 pictures. When the memory is full, the system will delete the oldest message automatically. Picture
