Chapter Website: Editor: Paul Gottwald Dates to Remember December 2- General Meeting 7pm Fill In Station speaker Ryan McMahon, guide from Twin Cities. He has been a musky fishing guide for the past 5 years. The majority of my guiding is done in the Twin Cities metro area of Minnesota. I also do some guiding in greater Minnesota and western Wisconsin, however my boat catches many trophy fish without ever leaving the metro area. I have had articles featured in Musky Hunter Magazine, Keyes Outdoors Online Magazine and also been a guest on Outdoor Logic TV. Joe Heil, or muskyjoe13@yahoo.com Club Activities Stocking At 8AM Thursday the 31 st we met at the rod & gun boat landing. Warm temperatures but extremely foggy. We had a lot of help, about members plus 5 DNR guy s & the bait man. I think there were eight boats, all with GPS capabilities thank goodness due to the fog. We had muskies ranging 8-10 inches. We didn t tag them but we did clip off the rear left fin. For the Muskie Inc. members we worked in teams of two. One person holding the little Muskie & the other clipping the fin. I watched one of the DNR guys holding the fish in one hand & clipping with the other. Pretty

2 talented because those little guys were slippery. When we had a couple of totes filled, the guys with boats took off into the fog to release them. I think they were mainly released in the small lake & the yellow river in hope to find cover so they didn t get eaten. A special thanks to all who participated & also the DNR for all their help, they supplied tables, pails, tanks, nets & scissors. Dave Carlson was also there interviewing a couple of the guys & taking videos for his TV show. We were all wrapped up before noon. It was a fun & rewarding project. We have a cabin for 6 from August 16th 23rd reserved.

I need kids pics all type, deer, fish, turkey, just fishing with dad ect.. I need senic pics I need funny pics I need big fish pics.. I need any type of fishing pic.. 7 Chapter Membership Updates. January 2014 the new member ID card process will be implemented, but it will be ready to roll within the next few weeks for all members. ON LINE MEMBER ID CARD PRINTING All member ID s will be printed by members once accessing their account User Profile. There will be a link on the user profile page (upper right hand corner) that will allow them to print and retain their own ID Cards at ANY TIME. For family members the family head will be able to print the entire families ID s. Print Membership ID Card Print All Family ID Cards We will be eliminating MI supplying and ID cards effective 1/1/2014. This will save the organization dollars in monthly expenditures for the imprinting and managing of the ID cards. We understand some of our members will not have access to computers or be able to print their own ID cards, in these cases they can contact the Secretary to have them produced and mailed to them, but this will be by request only. We will advise members of this in the January Issue of Muskie Magazine. We understand change is difficult but we also have an obligation to the organization to remain fiscally responsible and to become part of the new wave of technology.
