The existing library is immediately bordered to the south by est Street (State Maintained Minor rterial Road) and residential areas; and to the east, west and north by existing single family residential dwellings. The main site access is off of est Street with a secondary access point to the north at Poplar Street. The Library site consists of mowed lawn, trees, surface parking and a one-story building. The adjacent property, 1420 est Street, is a vacant lot with several large existing trees.
