2 Welcome to ESCC 2017 Dear Colleagues, On behalf of the Organizing Committee it is a great pleasure to invite you to the European Symposium on Comminution and Classification to be held in İzmir, Turkey from September Prof. Dr. Hakan Benzer Chairman ESCC 2017 will develop the themes from previous ESCCs which covers processing of minerals, ores and cement, grinding, dispersing and classification, new and non-classical applications, fundamentals and modelling&simulation of comminution. The symposium offers an excellent opportunity to share knowledge and experience between researchers, industry professionals and suppliers.

Improvement of classification steps in grinding circuits. Fine/ultrafine wet/dry grinding and classification Improving energy efficiency. Steady state/dynamic simulation of comminution circuits. Comminution and classification in recycling processes. Grinding, dispersing and classification of fine particles, particularly in, food, pharmaceutical, chemical and electronic industries Dry/Wet fine and ultra fine milling and classification of organic and inorganic materials Dispersion of nano and submicron particles Wear of internal parts and product contamination Processing of battery materials Grinding additives/aids, strength improvers in cement/concrete. 5 ABSTRACTS Registration to Symposium If you would like to present a paper in ESCC 2017, please submit a short abstract in English to info@escc2017.org before April 15, If accepted, full papers should be submitted by August 15, The selected papers will be refereed, and, if accepted, published in an esteemed journal (TBA).
