2 The Villa Empain On the initiative of the Boghossian Foundation, the renowned Villa Empain, situated along Brussels Avenue Franklin Roosevelt, has been restored carefully and with great respect of the building s history. In 2010, this exemplary restauration has been awarded the Europa Nostra prize by the European Union. Today it is a center of arts and dialogue between Eastern and Western cultures. Since April 2010, it has welcomed countless visitors within the framework of exhibitions, conferences and international encounters organised all year round. The Villa Empain, genuine masterpiece of the Art Deco movement, is also available for hire for private, corporate or institutional events. Depending on the number of guests and type of event, the exhibition rooms, terraces and Project Space can all be hired privately. The Villa and its temporary exhibitions can also be explored in a privileged setting, with private guided tours outside public opening hours. Organizing an event at the Boghossian Foundation means leaving your mark in its history, sharing its commitments, and contributing to its philanthropic activities and the continuation of the Villa Empain. Depending on your needs, the exhibition spaces, terraces or the Project Space in the basement are available for hire. Access to the Pergola to celebrate an event around the swimming pool, a unique location in Brussels, is a wonderful opportunity to share an exclusive moment.. Private hire of the Villa and the Pergola Up to 700 persons Private hire of the Villa Up to 300 persons persons on the terrace if the weather permits Private hire of the Project Space Organising an exclusive guided tour This formula enables merging an event to one of the high quality temporary exhibitions of the Foundation. It provides an opportunity to invite acquaintances, clients, colleagues, partners and friends outside the opening hours of the Foundation. Our guide-lecturers welcome your guests before unveiling the history of the Villa Empain, its architecture and the ongoing exhibition. A tour takes 45 to 60 minutes and takes place in groups of maximum 20 people. This intimate formula offers you the possibility to invite up to 60 persons at a time. Depending on the event, an additional guard may sometimes be required. Security guards are in charge of closing the Villa. Any commenced hour past midnight by the guards will result in a 40 additional fee. 3. The presence of at least one hostess at the welcome desk and one vigil for the exhibition ( 140 per person for 4 hours). The number of hostesses may vary depending on the type of exhibition and number of participants. 4. Cleaning costs: 300 (+ 100 for terraces) Optional Costs Cloakroom: 140 / hostess for 4 hours + 30 per additional hour. These signs must be designed on high-quality, self-standing supports. The immediate surroundings of the Villa offer easy parking, however it is possible to rent out a 60-meter-long (200 ) space in front of the Villa Empain. Direct access via the gardens can be organised subject to the condition that a guard remains present at the back entrance. The Villa Empain is easily accessible by public transport. The Solbosch stop for Trams 25 and 94 is a five-minute walk from the Villa.
