1 2017 IECEx World Symposium: A Capital Idea

2 Welcome to the 2017 IECEx World Symposium: A Capital Idea. Symposium attendees, who represent plant managers, engineers, certifiers, inspectors, and regulators, will learn how the National Electrical Code (NEC) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) HazLoc requirements affect their facilities and product lines. Participants will identify barriers to global design, production, and installation of HazLoc equipment, and represent their respective businesses during interactive discussions with prominent U.S. experts. Guest speakers are from the IECEx System, GE Oil & Gas, UL, DuPont, the International Association of Electrical Inspectors (IAEI), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the U.S. Department of Labor s Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA), and Intertek Consulting. We hope that you find the IECEx World Symposium speakers, Q&A panel, and networking opportunities to be beneficial as you enjoy Washington, D.C., and the Capital Hilton Hotel.
