1 Total Project Cost: $28,650 Project Description The client was desperate for more space in her master bathroom. She wanted to create a modern, open concept, spa like retreat with an expansive wet area. She also requested a feature wall behind the tub that could be seen upon entering the bathroom. The design focused on creating a floor plan that met those desires with high functionality and minimal changes to existing plumbing and windows. Natural lighting was a key focus, as well as using accent lights to enhance the beauty of the materials selected.

2 Before Two bedroom-sized rooms were accessed through a single door, but the large space was broken up by numerous closets and an awkward dividing wall. The client wanted to create one large master suite instead of restructuring this into 2 separate bedroom spaces.

3 Client had recently installed a wall length closet system (shown left) and didn t want to recapture that space or incorporate a walk in closet into the final design. Bathroom wall was angled to improve overall flow.

4 3D Rendering 3D Renderings of the proposed design were shared with the client prior to design finalization.

5 Client wanted to create a large open wet area. The city inspector and client had different visions for how this could be accomplished. Contractor created slight bevel down to shower floor to prevent adding a curb or additional floor drain.

6 The toilet was hidden behind the vanity for a unique way to create privacy with minimal visual 3D Rendering impact, while maximizing use of the available space.

7 Contractor worked closely with client on final material selections for the project. A frosted glass door was selected to allow more light into master bathroom from the new french doors that were installed in the master bedroom. Paint and floor colors were selected to tie into the color variations found in the Cambria quartz countertop.

8 The entry door opening into the bathroom made moving around in this cramped space challenging. Before

9 The flooring is Arizona polymer epoxy 400 metallic. Its composed of 100% solids and is a high performance coating.

10 The client liked having the shower controls separate from the shower head so this was repeated in the remodeled shower. Before

11 Recessed lighting added in shower showcases fixtures and tile work. Wood accents highlight change in ceiling height.

13 Client opted for three separate shower heads including a deluxe rain head with tilting tile sprays.

14 The walk-in closet in the master bedroom was rarely used and contained a large electrical panel with wires coming directly out of the box. Before

17 Client was given the option to have the window that was removed from the master bedroom re-installed in a new location of the room, but ultimately she opted not to add back in the window. [*Note: Homeowner elected to paint master bedroom walls/ceiling/trim herself. Bathroom was painted by contractor.]

19 Client wanted a view of the tub and feature wall from the master bedroom therefore a pocket door was used. The angle of the wall and the swing of the bedroom entry door were adjusted slightly in the field during layout to further maximize the view. A transom window was also added to increase light into master bathroom.

20 Attention to detail is seen with the mitered edge where the wood wall meets tile. Hidden nook space tucked behind wood wall can have glass shelving added for storage or hooks added for towels or robes.
