2 Introduction Introduction A Unique Space Welcome to Marcel Wanders, a space for events, meetings & workshops located in the beating heart of Amsterdam s creative Jordaan district. As the name suggests, Marcel Wanders is an inspired space where people come together to learn, share ideas, and get creative. That Gives Your Event an Unexpected, The Westerhuis building, in which Salon is located, is a former school that is now devoted to Amsterdam s creative industry, growing into a cultural platform in its own right. The majority of the spaces have been leased to a mixture of art- and design-studios, architects and art-galleries, amongst other creative businesses. In addition, the ground floor houses the flagship Moooi gallery. Sophisticated and Memorable Edge The building is also home to the studio of the international designer Marcel Wanders, and a team of 50 creative specialists.

3 Introduction Ideas Develop, Businesses Grow and Relationships Evolve Marcel Wanders is located on the 4th floor of the Westerhuis building, which has bird s eye views over the historical Westerkerk church and the Jordaan, and it s in this environment that ideas develop, businesses grow and relationships evolve. Three unique spaces are available and suitable for offsite business meetings, team workshops and brainstorms in short, for anyone seeking a special space that gives your event an unexpected, sophisticated and memorable edge.

4 Marcel Wanders Light, Clean and Luxuriously Decorated The Marcel Wanders space offers three flexible rooms in the house style and signature of Marcel himself a world in which whimsy, flair and fabulousness fuse. The rooms can be rented separately or as one large space of 200 m², suitable for large groups. All rooms are light, clean and luxuriously decorated with panoramic windows so you can also admire great views over Amsterdam s city centre.

5 Marcel Wanders THe One minute RoOm The One Minute Room is the smaller space of 38 m² and is suitable for groups of up to 4 people. The room comes equipped with 45 inch TV screen, conference calling and WiFi.

7 Marcel Wanders THe VIP RoOm The VIP Room is a large space of 54 m² and is suitable for groups of 12 people. It comes equipped with 65 inch TV screen, video conference, also conference calling and WiFi.

9 Marcel Wanders THe DivA RoOm The Diva Room is our biggest space in the Salon. With two rooms of 54 m² this is a fantastic space to rent for bigger groups who need to work in different teams. When you enter the Diva Room, a huge red round couch is placed in the middle of the space. With the iconic bell of Marcel Wanders above the couch. The second space you enter has a very long table with 14 chairs. It comes equipped with 65 inch TV screen, video conference, also conference calling and WiFi.

16 Location Location Located in the Beating Heart Marcel Wanders Westerstraat MA Amsterdam of Amsterdam Marcel Wanders is located in the beating heart of Amsterdam s creative Jordaan district, with views overlooking the historic centre of the city. The neighborhood is filled with galleries, design shops, fashion boutiques, restaurants and cafés. Because Salon is located in the centre of Amsterdam, please note that there is no on site parking. Guests who wish to park can do so in the surrounding streets (which have meter parking) and should also note that parking availability is limited on Monday morning because of the Westerstraat street market.
