2 your audience AWAITS The Chicago Flower & Garden Show will be blooming once again at Navy Pier, March To complete our spring awakening, we re looking for one-of-a-kind Chicago chefs and restaurants to join us as we create another memorable event. We have two great opportunities on the table for culinary masters offering you a chance to show off your expert palate with benefits you ll love. Read on to learn more about both of these unique opportunities. If you re interested in participating, be sure to submit your entry application before it s too late. 3 OPTION 1 GARDEN GOURMET Dating back to 1847, the Chicago Flower & Garden Show presents 25+ feature landscapes and garden vignettes, workshops, seminars and a booming marketplace. In addition, the event features a 150-seat Garden Gourmet culinary demonstration stage that never disappoints our garden-loving guests. Every year we seek out talented chefs to occupy our stage, delight our guests and share their expertise with a recipe-ready audience. For this year s event, we want you to be featured on our Garden Gourmet stage! Why Participate? Have your personal and/or restaurant information featured on our website in the months leading up to the show, giving you and/or your restaurant publicity and generating buzz about your appearance. Have your cooking demonstration promoted as part of our public relations campaign and featured in our enewsletter (30,000+ subscribers) and on social media (21,000+ followers). Entertain, teach and interact with 40,000+ attendees interested in learning how to create your delicious meal made from fresh ingredients. Enjoy our Celebrity Chef Table to use for book signings, restaurant/catering info, recipes and/or a meet and greet. For This Event: Garden Gourmet demonstrations take place daily within a garden setting on a fully equipped, professional cooking set. Each chef will have 45 minutes to prepare a recipe for the Garden Gourmet audience. Chefs should bring enough ingredients to serve small samples (2-3 oz) of their dish to 150 people. (We will provide serving cups, forks and spoons as well as the staff to distribute the samples.) 4 OPTION 2 EVENING IN BLOOM The Evening in Bloom preview benefit, held March 17th at Navy Pier, gives 600+ VIP attendees the chance to behold the Midwest s iconic Chicago Flower & Garden Show in its grandeur the evening before the show opens to the public. It also allows guests to indulge in hors d oeuvres from 15+ notable Chicago restaurants and chefs along with champagne, wine, beer and other specialty cocktails. All proceeds from Evening in Bloom benefit local charities selected by the Chicago Flower & Garden Show. Why Participate? Help better the Chicago community by supporting local charities. Meet and mingle with some of Chicago s most influential individuals, business owners and potential customers. Generate buzz and media attention by being featured on our website, Facebook and Twitter. Have your company promoted within our enewsletter (30,000+ subscribers) and within the event program. What We Provide: Hot or cold storage for your menu items. Cocktail napkins, serving plates, plastic sample cups, plastic forks, spoons and knives. 2 Presentation tables with linen and a chair. Signage, including company name, logo and menu items. Electricity, if needed. What We Ask from You: Tastings to feed people.
