2 Project j Information Anderson Road Quarry is located at the southwestern ridge of Tai Sheung Tok Hill in East Kowloon. The development platform covers an area of about 40ha. It will provide land for residential housing development, commercial uses, supporting community facilities, a quarry park, open spaces and amenity areas, starting from 2019/2010. 3 Objectives and Benefits of Connectivity We target to enhance the pedestrian connectivity among Development Area, those housing estates and community services facilities in the vicinity by Constructing footbridges, lifts or escalators to enable residents to travel conveniently among the Development Area,, Kwun Tong Town Centre and MTR Station; Connecting existing pedestrian routes in the district for the convenience nce of residents; Providing access to the bus-bus interchange station at Tseung Kwan O Tunnel Toll Plaza being proposed under this development project, and Aiming thereby to reduce the demand for short vehicular trips to relieve the pressure on the existing road network.
