A number of shrub wildings have established in a sporadic manner in the open space area between the Midway Surf Club and Beacon Car Par. Some of these clusters pose potential CPD riss and is recommended planting be rationalised in this area, with low shrubs removed and additional specimen trees planted to provide amenity and shade. A gentle, curved walway alignment between Grey Street and oberts oad achieves a balance between spatial separation to existing trees, useable grassed open space and the creation of a legible dune edge / interface. Boardwal extends no greater than m - m into dune / mown edge for approx. 15m in order to achieve desired alignment and relationships. SALIS BUY L803 CNN NIAL MA D IN D IV L80 S D Grey Street termination including proposed upgrade of access structures in association with dune restoration planting. Walway alignment set bac from beach interface to avoid sensitive dune complex in this area. Beacon Carpar beach access requires upgrade and re alignment of access structures in association with dune / blowout infill and restoration planting. Proposed walway alignment to extend over new infill area to achieve logical, direct connection to carpar interface. BUY D OB he walway alignment between oberts oad and Beacon Carpar continues as above. o a limited extent the boardwal marginally extends up to m into dune / mown edge in some locations to achieve desired alignment and relationships. SALIS L801 Concrete walway extension in this is set bac from mown grass / dune edge to maximise usable grass open space adjacent to Surf Club. Alignment allows for the future incorporation of picnic areas in spatially enclosed spaces beneath trees to the north.
