In spite of the fact that people in many parts of the world spend the majority of their time inside. What we breathe inside is really a mix of outdoor air and pollutants from construction materials, people, animals, machines and other things that one finds indoors. Compounded with the fact that today's houses are often well insulated, pollutants are quickly trapped indoors if there are no special systems installed to remove them. People feel better if we have clean air to breathe, we become more effective and perform better at work, in school or at home. Several studies have shown that the number of sick days taken, also reduces with increasing air flows.the number of people with allergies is growing rapidly and the indoor environment appears to be a very important factor. Today, there are both simple and effective solutions available for ventilation as well as for heat recovery. A properly constructed ventilation system becomes an effective way to conserve energy.the former conflict between good ventilation and low energy consumption simply doesn't exist anymore. The working environment is in focus at Systemair AB In the Development Centre there is a so called reverberation room which has a background sound below 10 dba. Actually, it is two rooms the inner one where the sound levels are being measured weighs 33 tonnes and is resting on 76 sturdy steel springs. We deliver within 24 hours from local stocks and from a central distribution centre within 72 hours. The Straight Way Our first product concept, the straight way, resulted in the circular duct fan. Systemair Systemair was founded in Sweden in 1974 and is now the parent company in a global group with 38 subsidiaries and approx employees. The group s head office and largest production plant are in Skinnskatteberg, occupying an area of approximately 27,000 sqm and employing 325 people. The group turnover for this year is expected to be over EUR 200 million. Production We are proud of our production units. The goal has been to have an effective production of volume products and at the same time be able to produce small volumes in an efficient and flexible way. This has steered our choice of machinery and how we plan our production. To be constantly improving is important, not only for our machinery, but also for all functions in our organisation. We continue to focus on the working environment. Our premises are pleasant and airy and we provide the necessary means to our employees to make a safe and efficient workplace. Technical data Our new Development centre is equipped with test equipment that makes it one of Europe s most modern facilities for measuring air flow, acoustic values, efficiency, low-velocity diffusion and air handling units, etc. All measurements are performed in accordance with the prevailing AMCA and ISO standards. Quality and environment Systemair has been certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO Thanks to our quality assurance system, we are continously improving our products and the service provided to our customers. To be certified is to pledge to minimise our environmental impact. Our customers can rely on us to take environment into consideration when we choose subcontractors, materials, production methods etc. An important aspect is our continuous endavour to reduce both our energy consumption and our waste. The environmental management system has enabled us to reduce our volume of waste by 90% as the result of more recycling and greater awareness. The quality assurance and environmental management systems are being continuously developed and these are audited twice a year by the accredited certification institute BVQI (Bureau Veritas Quality International). 4

Factory, head-office and warehouse is located in Hasselager, Århus.There is also a sales office in Skovlunde in Copenhagen. Fantech Inc., Canada The manufacturing company Fantech Inc, is located in Bouctouche, New Brunswick. The company employs around 130 people and has a floor area of 13,500 sqm. Systemair, Norway The factory for large Air Handling Units and distribution centre for Norway is located in Dal, Eidsvoll. Norwegian head office, product development and ware-house for domestic ventilation products is placed at Sandnes, close to Stavanger. Systemair GmbH, Germany The German factory and distribution centre is located at Windischbuch in Bad Würtemberg. The company employs around 90 people and the total area of its factory and office premises is 11,000 sqm.
