2 VALUE COMFORTABLE HEAT WITH A GUARANTEED SENSE OF WELL-BEING BY LOFEC INTELLIGENT FLOOR, WALL AND CEILING HEAT The ultra-slim, electrical Lofec panel heating allows temperature control and heating of surfaces and spaces with healthy and invisible radiant heat. The 0.5 mm thin heating trails are equipped with a dimensionally stable fabric surface and are powered with safe low voltage (24 V). This intelligent technique and low structural height allows the use in all cases that were not possible until now. Lofec panel heating can even be applied in wet areas without any problems. Floor Whether used as regulated floor temperature control or pleasant floor heating - Lofec panel heating fits and heats every square meter. Due to homogeneous heat distribution the panel heating can be combined with any kind of flooring material. Hereby, the temperature is naturally complied with prescribed temperature limits. Wall Installed inside the wall Lofec panel heating provides a comfortable room atmosphere or selectively heated areas. With surface temperatures up to a maximum of 39 C the thermal radiation is experienced as pleasant. One big advantage of the heating rails is the damage tolerance. Advanced intelligent heat. Ceiling When it comes to power consumption ceiling heating is the most economical way of heating. Minimal installation height generates short heat-up periods. The panel heating installation can be done fast and easily by professionals like e.g painters, plasterers, electricians and tilers. A laying on diverse substrate materials is possible without any problems. The heating rails are usually embedded between the substrate and decorative surface. All our installation recommendations of respective mounting conditions in floor, wall and ceiling resulted under practical conditions by our industrial partners, whereby they were also tested and approved. The application field of the Lofec panel heating is as variable as the requirements in building projects. Due to 24V operating voltage even wet areas, like bathrooms, showers or wellness areas, are no problem at all. Here, heated seats are particularly pleasant. Numerous areas of application of the Lofec panel heating are as well to be found in commercial sectors. Floor heating in e.g dressing rooms, elimination of ice on outdoor staircases, establishing of customer comfort zones. With the Lofec panel heating nothing will stand in the way for an individual and flexible feel-good ambience. When it comes to old building renovations and listed buildings the Lofec panel heating is unbeatable with its minimal profile height. The missing heat output can be installed without any kind of structural changes. Another issue in old buildings is the heating of cold exterior walls with comfortable and healthy heat radiation. 4 PANEL HEATING PORTION OF RADIATION SYSTEM For all heated areas the following applies: in the range of temperatures between 15 C and 30 C inside buildings the portion of radiation of the heat transfer coefficiency is approximately 5.5 W/m2/K (EN 15377). The physical basis for this is the Stefan-Boltzmann law. All values above mean that heat is given off additionally through convection. Ceiling heating accounts for the highest radiation portion (92%), followed by wall heating (69%) and floor heating (50% 69%). Compared to pure convectors, that have a radiation portion of only 10%, panel radiators without convectors have a radiation portion of about 50%. Heating rails The ultra-slim heating rails are freely configurable in length and available in two different widths. Standard width is 60 cm, the slim version is 17 cm wide. Control Lofec s junction boxes are delivered as flush-mounting distribution boards or as switch cabinets. The protected Lofec relay SSR makes the system 100% reliable even in the case of power fluctuations. Control technology A wireless system is the control technology s standard. We deliver a conventional handwheel controller or a digital thermostat with display and clock. Naturally, a wired system is available as well. Do not hesitate to talk to us.
