Sir, Sealed Tenders are invited from parties concerned for the shifting of marine workshop, machine shop, boiler-chemistry lab., electrical & electronics lab., material science lab., control engineering lab., fluid mechanics lab. to new location as per the list attached along with the terms and conditions, to Indian Maritime University, Mumbai Port Campus in the format given as Annex-I The Tender should be sent in the sealed envelope, clearly marked as Tender for shifting of marine workshop, machine shop, boiler-chemistry lab., electrical & electronics lab., material science lab., control engineering lab. to new location and addressed to The Administrative Consultant, Indian Maritime University, Mumbai Port Campus, Hay Bunder Road, Mumbai and should reach this office on or before by 400 Hrs. The agency has to submit bank Details, Cancelled Cheque, PAN, TAN, and address proof for their identity. Submission of tax invoice with GST No. is compulsory on purchase. Interested parties who have submitted the Tender may be present at the time of opening of tenders on at 4.30 Hrs. in the Conference Room, 2 nd Floor, LBS Bldg., IMU-MPC, Mumbai Terms and Conditions : I. The deputed service engineer/technician may inspect the laboratory equipments during the period to (on working days), between 400 Hrs to 700 Hrs with prior intimation to our designated contact person. II. III. The report should include the present status of the items to be serviced, repaired/up-graded with necessary spare parts (required if any). The items which are non- functional and beyond economic repair should be certified with the necessary justification to enable the IMU MPC to replace the same with a new one.

In case of the replacement of old damaged/ non working instruments/apparatus/ machines are required, the agency may suggest upgraded/advanced certified new machines available with the authorized suppliers/original manufacturers. V. The Tenders must be submitted along with the inspection report, failing to which it will be treated as the Tender is cancelled. VI. VII. The duration of service period is 60 working days from the issue of work order. The warranty of the working of laboratory/ workshop equipments/ machines should be at least of one year after the servicing of the same. VIII. The quote should be valid for minimum of 20 days, from the last date of the submission of the Tender. IX. The payment of servicing/ up-gradation charges will be made only After the servicing and testing of all assigned laboratory equipments/machines etc. The completion certificate with the confirmation of respective laboratory in-charges has to be submitted along with the bill.
