10 Family attractions Evesham Country Park is the perfect day out with Evesham Vale Light Railway and The Ark Animal Sanctuary. Evesham Vale Light Railway The Ark Animal Sanctuary Evesham Vale Light Railway trains are steam hauled and travel for over a mile through the old apple orchards and around the country park, stopping briefly at Evesham Vale Station. Here you can take a break from your journey to have a picnic, walk to the River Avon or just enjoy the views overlooking the Vale of Evesham. The Ark Animal Sanctuary offers a great animal experience for the whole family.
