4 Situation & Comunications The hamlet of Abbots Lench is one of the five picturesque Lench villages well known for their natural beauty and black and white Tudor cottages. Abbots Lench lies close to the Blossom Trail on account of the many fruit orchards laden with spring blossom. and is ideally situated for exploring the beautiful villages and historic towns of the Cotswolds, Stratford-upon-Avon, Worcester and Warwick. There is a canoe club in nearby Fladbury catering particularly for the young and is one of the most successful in Britain. Locally there are many public footpaths and bridleways for walking and riding enthusiasts. Theatres are to be found in Cheltenham and Stratford-upon-Avon, including the renowned Royal Shakespeare Company. There is excellent schooling in the general area, with high achieving state and private schools at Worcester, Stratfordupon-Avon, Cheltenham and Malvern.
