2 About CORA in general CORA was the first hyper chain on the market. CORA is a family owned company established and still directed by 2 brothers CORA is a member of the European Louis Delhaise Group. We are present in 5 countries, France, Belgium, Luxemburg, Hungary and Rumania. The principal activity of Louis Delhaize Group is the operation of food supermarkets and hypermarkets. The first hypermarket was opened in Törökbálint in CORA has hypermarkets with over m2 selling area and with a selection of different products. CORA has and uses own logistics in the daily life. CORA products and employees are of high quality standard. CORA prefers long term relations with all of our partners. CORA plans for long term in general.
3 Cora hypermarkets In Hungary the chain consists Cora hypermarkets (7), Match supermarkets (125) and Profi discounts (73). Cora has 7 hypermarkets in Hungary. (Cities: Törökbálint, Budakalász, Fót, Szeged, Miskolc, Debrecen, Szolnok). CORA s turnover in 2008 was DKK 3 billion. Our target group is: housewives between years, who are responsible for the shopping. CORA clients have the highest average purchasing power, the highest loyalty rate among the hypermarkets. CORA uses own marketing set up that includes own printing company hostess and marketing staff
