3 How to Measure ritical imensions HEIGHT WITH WITH HEIGHT inside mount (IM) installation To Find Width Measure exact distance between inside surfaces of window frame at the top, middle, and bottom, and use the narrowest width. o not make any width deductions. These brackets can stop a shade from bouncing and loosely swinging if the shade is hung on a door. Available only on outside mount. When the shade must operate around an obstruction, these brackets project the shade away from the wall, allowing easy operation. Not available with hold-down brackets. 8 Options & Upgrades Notes VALANE OPTION MOTORIZATION OPTION Standard Valance The Standard Valance is a 3 ½" wide grooved channel that contains the same fabric as the shade. NOTE: For patterns where there are vertical lines, these lines will run horizontally in the valance. assette Valance A cassette is an enclosed valance with a curved front panel, with a matching strip of material/fabric inserted across the face of the cassette. The cassette comes in two sizes, determined by the size of the shade and the thickness of the fabric. NOTE: The assette Valance is preselected for each fabric. It is available in four colors: white, black, brown and brushed aluminum. EORATIVE HEM PROFILES Scallops ecorative hems may be added to any roller shade by choosing from one of the styles shown below. Each hem must be finished with either a trim or fringe color. NOTE: Scalloped hems add approximately 4" to the length of the roller shade and does not roll up into the shade. ecorative Trim The trim is placed directly on the edge of the scallop while the 1" fringe hangs over the edge of the scallop. Wireless Infrared (IR) Motorization Infrared motorization is battery-powered (batteries included) and requires an unobstructed line of site between the remote control and the shade motor to operate. Each remote ordered will operate all shades in the same manner. Order a 10" satellite eye if you have draperies or other obstructions close to the headrail that may block the standard eye supplied (this is 5" long). Wireless Radio Frequency (RF) Motorization No line-of-site is required between the remote or switch and the shade in order to operate. The shade can be operated from up to 20 feet away through concrete walls. There are several types of controls offered with RF motorization as well: Single-hannel Remote ontrol This remote control controls all shades within range together. Five-hannel Remote ontrol This remote can be programmed to control shades on up to 4 individual channels or all shades together. This is a good option for homes with shades facing different directions. Single-hannel Wall Switch This option controls the shades in the same manner as the single-channel remote control. A professional installer or electrician should install this switch in your wall. Five-hannel Wall Switch The five-channel switch controls shades within range in the same manner as the five-channel remote control. A professional installer or electrician should install this switch. Automatic Timer The automatic timer feature can be programmed to operate shades at certain times of day. This is a great security or energy-saving feature for your home. Solar-ontrolled Timer This feature controls shades based on the position of the sun. We may require the return of defective shades prior to repair or replacement. Incorrect Merchandise If any part of your shipment was made incorrectly,please advise ustomer Service within 30 days. A replacement will be made at no charge if the problem was due to Kirsch error. If the problem was due to dealer or customer error, the original order and replacement order will be full charge. Returns for Repair Prior to return for repair, contact ustomer Service. We will request the order number, date, purchase order number, and type of product. Arrangements for return will be made at that time with directions as to how the shades should be returned. The package should be marked for easy identification both inside and outside, and should contain a written confirmation of the verbal repair instructions. Repairs should be packaged carefully.
