4 ACTT - Company ACTT, a public transport operator for the city of Treviso, works in urban area. Since 1975, with the birth of ACTT, the first management of public transport service of Treviso has benn started. Later the transport service has been extended to the first area near the center of Treviso: population

5 ACTT Projects Relevant activities by ACTT (with impact on the environment): Activation of an eco-friendly bus depot located in the Natural Park of Sile river; Methane transport since 2007 with domestic natural gas system; Gas exhaust extraction system in the store (the first of the genre awarded by Legambiente main Italian environmental association); New headquarters with photovoltaic systems; I-PARK Trevisosta is a society of ACTT that manages parking system in Treviso

6 I-park: new parking system I-Park started in January 2010 Wireless sensors installed in every parking bay in all the historical centre of Treviso Real time data: availability of parking bays through VMS panels, in order to reduce unnecessary car travel searching for a parking bay; knowledge of the payments status, as to speed up the inspectors procedure by sending inspectors to check the vehicles in potential violation only; knowledge of the use of parking areas by user type, which allowed to implement appropriate policies of reorganization and parking fee. Sensors are installed under the road pavement, they are invisible.

7 Rules of I-Park 1. Read your parking space number and type it on parking meters display. 2. No coupon has to be displayed on your car dashboard! 3. You can pay from any parking-meter wherever you want! 4. Possibility to extend the staying from any parking-meter. 5. Possibility of paying by SMS.

29 Perht Approach The PERHT approach the implementation of appropriate and innovative parking schemes and associated measures in small-/mid-size centres particularly in historic towns, where the impacts of individual and commercial traffic are more severe may turn parking resources and services into a key asset (infrastructural, technical, economic) for the achievement of a greener mobility.
