Warm water pipes installed in the living room and cabin floors and under the rear mattress provide the constant warmth with minimal air movement of underfloor heating. Living room, bedroom and drivers cabin can be independantly regulated. Warm water radiators fitted behind the driver seats provide extra heat in the living area. Warm air is ducted throughout the vehicle to enable the motorhome to be heated quickly, adjustable nozzles allowing the temperature in separate areas of the vehicle to be varied according to the different requirements. An additional heater blows warm air out of vents in the cabin. Hymer S-Class vehicles are divided into four sections, the driver s cabin, which is usually an integral part of the living area, the lounge, the household section comprising kitchen and washroom, and in the S740 and S820, the bedroom in the rear. The household section is on a raised floor, under which lies most of the on board technical devices e.g. fresh and waste water tanks, pipework, heating, etc. Hymer Technology HYMER side panels are built using PUAL technology. The side panels are a unique sandwich construction of marine ply inside, polyurethane foam and an elegant smooth exterior of shiny hot-enamelled aluminium. The panels are manufactured in a single piece, creating a side wall of great strength and excellent durability. The homogenous closed pore foam insulation is absolutely rot-proof as well as being the perfect insulator to keep warm in Winter and cool in Summer. 33
