General Product Descrip on: Compound Reformulaons and Process Transfers of US-Made BST Descrip on of Changes One of the components used in manufacturing several of our heavy duty tubing products has been made obsolete by the supplier. To connue to service our valued customers, we are announcing that TE Connecvity will be qualifying a new supplier of the ingredient for compounds used to manufacture these products. The new ingredient is chemically equivalent to the current ingredient. The affected products will connue to meet the AMS-DTL-23053/15, American Bureau of Shipping and Lloyd s Register of Shipping standards along with TE s RW-2017, RW-2011, and RW-2016 specificaons. The compound formulaon changes along with processing transfers within the Menlo Park, CA manufacturing site (between buildings and equipment) will take effect by July 1, TE plans to conduct running changes for the reformulaon. Reason for Changes: Part status change.te Connecvity believes these changes will not affect the form, fit or funcon of the products. TE also recommends that our customers conduct their own evaluaon of these products in the specific applicaons where they are used. The new ingredients are chemically equivalent to the current ingredients.
