1 ANNUAL MAINTENANCE CONTRACT TO COVER FIRE EXTINGUISHER SERVICE FROM JULY, 208 THROUGH JUNE 30, 209 Supply labor and materials to perform annual maintenance service, inspection and certification for campus fire extinguishers and kitchen fire suppression systems in accordance with New Jersey Uniform Fire Code; International Fire Code New Jersey Edition 2006 and NFPA0 and NFPA 7A for the Edison Campus, New Brunswick Center and Perth Amboy Center from July, 208 through June 30, 209. The initial service must be completed within 30 days of contract award. Fire extinguisher maintenance includes recharge, hydrostatic and maintenance tests as required by law. The supplier must provide MCC with loaner extinguishers without charge where any extinguishers are removed to complete testing from its current location. As soon as it is determined that a fire extinguisher is not serviceable, the supplier must notify the MCC Health and Safety Department. When the extinguishers are tested, the supplier shall place an indicator uniformly on each making the testing date clearly visible. New tags should include dates of service. All added fire extinguishers must be supplied with wall brackets. All prices quoted must be guaranteed for the fiscal year July, 208 to June 30, 209 and must include delivery and any hazardous waste transportation fees or other charges incidental to the delivery of the items quoted. The College has the option to renew for one additional year July, 209 through June 30, The balance of this contract is to include service to all fire extinguishers on an as needed basis. Page
