A FEAST FOR THE SENSES. Wohnen & Interieur 2018 It is definitely one of the highlights of the year at Messe Wien.

In 2017, the Wohnen & Interieur inspired 80,000 visitors on 55,000 sqm of expo floor space with a variety of theme areas and a broad spectrum of 500 domestic and international exhibitors.

Face-to-face contact is growing in importance in an ever-increasingly digitalised world. Fairs make reality tangible again as visitors encounter objects and people visually, audibly and physically.

The success of the show was confirmed by the results of the visitor survey conducted by Linz-based market research institut market : 87 % were very pleased with the fair 93 % say the range of

The Wohnen & Interieur is the largest and most important exhibition in the furnishing sector, and one of Austria s leading consumer fairs. In 2017, the Wohnen & Interieur inspired 80,000 visitors on 55,000 sqm of expo floor space with a variety of theme areas and a broad spectrum of 500 domestic and international exhibitors. The key aim of the fair is to facilitate person-to-person conversations with end consumers, and to enable a customised advice on goods and services. Face-to-face contact is growing in importance in an ever-increasingly digitalised world. Fairs make reality tangible again as visitors encounter objects and people visually, audibly and physically. The expo experience is rounded off with chill-out lounges, free W-LAN points, daily cookery shows at the #cookingstation and trendy food trucks. A VERY POSITIVE PUBLIC RESPONSE. 4 HALL A The kitchen, dining area and living room have merged to become a large, open living space - a place for communication and to spend time together. Innovative technologies provide for shared enjoyment, comfort and a lifestyle mood. The broad boulevards display kitchen studios, specialist traders and manufacturers of furniture. Talks and presentations, cookery shows and classes at the #cookingstation all tempt visitors to try products, cook and taste the results. It s an attractive crowd-puller that encourages people to join the action in the kitchen. HALL B Austria s carpenters exhibit innovative interior design work and unique made-to-fit solutions for every living space and bedroom, applying skilled craftsmanship to sustainably sourced and processed materials rich in tradition. The interior construction section displays floors, doors, stairs, walls and security systems. The large furniture section puts the spotlight on trendy upholstered furniture, home accessories and fireplaces. Relaxation is to be found in the bedroom section with a large range of beds, mattresses and complete bed systems. HALL C The generously-sized Bathoom & Spa section features furnishing ideas, bathroom furniture and the latest trends and innovations in bathroom and toilet ceramics, taps and tiles. The adjacent outdoor spa area showcases the very latest saunas, steam baths and jacuzzis, bridging the gap to the GardenWorld and GardenDesign area and guiding in the sweet fragrances of the upcoming spring season. The portfolio is rounded off with lots of useful items and practical accessories for home and garden. Artists in the UnikateWelt offer unique works of art and interesting conversation. The YoungProjects area features new designers and start-ups offering unconventional solutions. HALL D DesignWorld is a stage for exclusive full range providers, manufacturers, specialist retailers and design studios from the international interior design scene. Hall D is the hotspot for the world of interior design, featuring more than 150 top design labels. The symbiosis of exquisite booth concepts and influential styles generates a unique and elegant mood. The DesignBar is the perfect location to enjoy inspiring conversations.

The fair in Vienna was a hotspot for great design in Austria and provided the ideal stage upon which to introduce our new BORA Professional line.

Great visitor interest was shown in our products. The visitor figures also showed that this year s event was a lot busier than previous editions.

This has enabled us to acquire large numbers of customers and discover lots of potential purchasers in the Vienna region.

For me the Wohnen & Interieur show is the number one event in Austria. It goes without saying that we ll be back in 2018. Exhibitor in Hall D Wolfgang Grimme (Mag.

The visitor numbers at our booth were overwhelming and can t just be explained by the increasing popularity of our TV spot. The fair in Vienna was a hotspot for great design in Austria and provided the ideal stage upon which to introduce our new BORA Professional line. Exhibitor in Hall A Familie Ulrich, Tischlerwerkstätte ULRICH OG: We ve been exhibiting at this show for many years, so of course we will be here again next year. Great visitor interest was shown in our products. The visitor figures also showed that this year s event was a lot busier than previous editions. Overall, the Wohnen & Interieur 2017 expo experience was very positive. The people of Vienna greatly appreciate Styrian craftsmanship and the excellent quality workmanship involved. This has enabled us to acquire large numbers of customers and discover lots of potential purchasers in the Vienna region. Exhibitor in Hall B Erwin Ladenstein, Ladenstein GesmbH: This year s show was very convincing. It had charisma, gave off positive vibrations and drew visitors into the halls. For me the Wohnen & Interieur show is the number one event in Austria. It goes without saying that we ll be back in Exhibitor in Hall D Wolfgang Grimme (Mag.), Fliesendorf - Grimme Handelsgesellschaft m.b.h.: There were more visitors at the show this year than ever before, so the feedback I can now provide is that much better. The reconceptualization of the Wohnen & Interieur is beginning to have an effect. Reed Exhibitions has also upped its investment in show promotion considerably and it s worked. I think of this fair as a 3D poster or ad. Visitors can touch and feel everything on show, and as exhibitors we have far more opportunities to enter into conversations with potential customers and explain our products. That s something I can only do at a fair like the Wohnen & Interieur. Exhibitor in Hall C Martin Nentwich, Die Gartenwerkstatt: We were thrilled. The fair attracted large numbers of visitors and there were some very good customers at our booth. This leads us to expect excellent post-wohnen & Interieur ordering activity. Being on show at the Wohnen & Interieur is of immense importance to our company.
