3 MIPIM UK OVERVIEW MIPIM UK is a three day show at London s Olympia on October designed to appeal to all sectors of the UK property market. MIPIM UK will bring together the whole of the UK property industry, comprising all markets and sectors, along with international investors, under one roof; providing a genuine showcase for all parts of the UK. The inaugural MIPIM UK will provide a platform for the UK property industry not only to do business, but also to discuss the future needs of the UK cities and regions and the requirements of those that work and live in them. More than 3,000 people from across the UK and the global real estate market are expected to attend. It covers the breadth of the built environment process, appealing to people engaged in urban planning, to project funding, to construction and development, to leasing, to investment sales. The biggest constituents will be developers, agents, investors, fund and asset managers, landlords, local authority executives, planning consultants, architects. WHO IS SUPPORTING MIPIM UK: Greg Clark, Minister for Cities has expressed his support for MIPIM UK and Mayor for London Boris Johnson has already thrown his weight behind the event. MIPIM UK has also formed a heavyweight Advisory Committee and this group will help to shape the content and direction for MIPIM UK, helping to ensure that it is closely aligned with what the whole of the UK property market needs. 10 MIPIM UK NETWORKING Modelled as a UK-focussed exhibition and conference for UK and overseas investors, MIPIM UK will also feature dedicated events for investors and occupiers. Based on the highly successful, invitation-only `Re-Invest model held at MIPIM in Cannes and MIPIM Asia, `Re-Invest UK Summit is a closed-door session attracting leading international and domestic investors. It will run concurrently with the main conference programme. This will take place on the morning of Wednesday, October 15. The Occupier Summit, an invitation-only event, will address the needs of the occupier on the morning of Thursday October 16.
